City Circus Athens

Not bad for socializing. Pretty accessible and close to most sites. Staff is nice and stored my luggage after checkout. Having to leave my room's access card inserted in a device by the wall to keep electricity (including light) working was a bit of a downturn, because I wanted to charge my phone overnight whilst the light is off so I can sleep, but that was impossible. One of the two showerheads for my room was leaking and I believe I got few bites that made me doubt if there were bedbugs??

Il y a des bed bugs!

the single USB plug on my bunk was loose so charging any device is uncomfortable and time consuming - so the more devices you need to charge, the more time spend. Both nights I stayed, there was 2 different people without any baggage - one of them slept in his shoes and matched all the markings of a drug tourist (introduced himself as james in an english accent) snoring like a chainsaw all night long. Definitely check room 204 for BEDBUGS ! I have bugbites all over the back of my neck and this is the worst kind of souvenir to bring home.

The room bed are full of bed bugs I was totally in shocked the first night I was found out that I go down in the reception explain the situation they told me they will cleaning with special chemical I don’t know what it would be when I returned I was thought everything is clean guess what ? they only changed the bedsheet Nothing else is clean the next morning 5:00 am I wake up to get ready to go out the bed is full of bugs I record the video and picture to show them in the reception the young guy I met in the reception he was a morning shift he saw everything.. what a disgusting experience but my I advice to whom concert the hotel it’s better to raise up the price and clean the room it’s totally wrong to welcome guest with bed bugs because it will spread everywhere Who knows what I carry on in my luggage .

Pretty unhappy with my stay. My air conditioning wasn’t working and was raised shortly after checking in. The first solution was a fan in the room which did not help in the heat of Athens. After raising a second time I was able to change rooms for the night which I was thankful for but this occurred late at night it. After my second night I woke up with a bunch of bites over my body. I saw another traveller say City Circus has bed bugs so assume this is what caused my bites too. Pretty gross.

Good location and friendly staff, unfortunately bed bugs in my bed in 201. They had a protocol to clean and switched me to a different room but it was a hassle overall

I really liked staying here, the location was perfect and the rooms were well set up. My score would've been higher, but I got done by bedbugs in room 102.

Got bed bugs, had to swap rooms.
