Sagres Sun Stay

Leider waren die Zimmer nicht ganz so toll. Die Betten waren sehr veraltet. Der Vorhang und die Wand von dem Bett in dem ich geschlafen habe waren etwas verschmutzt. Und der Vorhang hat etwas gemüffelt. In den Betten von meinem Zimmer wurde zusätzlich Bettwanzen gefunden, was überall passieren kann, da jeder Gast diese mitbringen kann. Allerdings sollte trotzdem auf Sauberkeit in den Zimmern, vor allem in den Betten geachtet werden. Kleine Anmerkung noch. Ich würde nicht empfehlen Frühstück dazu zu buchen, da es keineswegs die Erwartungen von einem halbwegs gutem Frühstück erfüllt haben.

BEDBUG INFESTATION. I have 50+ bites on my body from my time here (photos uploaded don’t show all the bites). I stayed in the dorms and switched a private room after discovering bedbugs in the dorm. Both rooms were infested. When I initially brought the managers attention to the issue, they washed my clothing and I was able to switch to the private room. When I discovered bedbugs in the private room I was asked to leave (at 11 PM at night) and personally blamed for their infestation. I was only given a refund for 1 night (the night I left) out of the 6 nights that I was there. I don’t know what measures they took to clean the rooms and mitigate the infestation. I do know, though, that when guests later asked about the bedbugs they denied having any. The manager also told a guest who asked about my bites that they are from my “nervous system”, not bed bugs 🧐 I would not recommend staying here.

‘s nacht ontdekte ik bedwantsen. Ik sliep in blok A en had bednummer 8. Na het bellen naar het noodnummer, kreeg ik wel snel een ander bed in een ander blok toegewezen. De kosten voor de was werden ook vergoed.

Bed bugs in both of our beds, beware!! Check your bed, space was dirty and not cleaned well. Would not stay here, facility did give us a refund without any questions which was nice.
