Europa House Hotel

Heating didn't work. 1 of the nob for the heating in the 1 room had fell off. I screwed it back on. There was water or somethink on it. 1 hair dryer wasn't working. 1 socket wasn't working. Found bed bug skins in the bed. So had no sleep. The mattress are firm. I didn't even bother with the breakfast. Just wanted to get out of there. Very noisy. The toliet area is tiny. The shower area is tiny also. No sink in the toliet area you have to go into 1 of the bedrooms to wash your hand's..I found the price was over priced however that's because the breakfast is added into the breakfast. I fell that should be a option not just added into price. I had a child that is glutenfree, dairyfree, eggfree. I didn't check if they cater for that. I was not told I would need I.d before the trip. Passport or driving licence. I don't have any. Also proof of address again didn't no about this before hand. I did contact the hotel ro make a complaint and said theses problems need sorting for the next guest. Anyway. They said the cleaners do a good job changing sheets so there wouldn't be any bed bug's. What proof do you have? Yes a photo. The heating the said if they were aware they would have sorted it this was passed 10pm. I don't think they would have fix it.

As my room was facing the road, vehicle noises were pronounced however not intrusive to disrupt my sleep. I guess double glazed windows might be the solution. Even though the toilet and shower areas were spotless, I noticed that the extractor fan cover had not been cleaned for a while. Also, the angle of the toilet seat was set to lean slightly forward, which meant that it would bang down hard on to the toilet rim. Just two minor irritants in what was otherwise an excellent stay.
