When you book through Booking.com, it tells you that all fees and taxes are included. However, once the cancellation period was over they told me I still had to pay an extra fee because it is a youth hostel (I saw other guests get their same surprise face). I think this is misleading advertising and it is unethical. Had I known that the final price would have been higher I would have opted for something else. Guests were very disrespectful and uncaring. They kept turning the lights on after midnigth (and keeping them long on in order to do their makeup), chatting super loud in the bedroom (after 1AM). I wish they had intervened and also put very clear behaviour rules (like, lights off after 23:00).

Good location, good service, but I got bitten by a bed bugs 😭

The most disgusting and unclean place I have ever stayed. There were 2 toilets between 50 guests and there was bodily fluids all over the floor and toilets. Alongside that, there was often no toilet paper. The showers flooded, were extremely dirty, and had no space to change or hang a towel without it getting soaked. There was also issues without our air conditioning as there was no remote and it would often blow at different speeds making us cold/warm all the time. We were also made to make our own beds which the sheet did not fit on properly and to remove the sheets when we checked out (is this not what staff are for?). You also have to put a deposit down for towels, when we checked out the reception staff were no where to be seen and we had to wait 10 minutes down them to show up and give us our deposit back. Leaving the hostel could not have come sooner, we do not recommend and will not be back. We also woke up with multiple bites each night - not sure if these were bed bug bites or flea bites but there was definitely something in the bed that was biting us.

Hostel was so dirty! I found fleas in my bed, but there was no one at reception and the hostel did not answer my phone calls or messages. There was one gender neutral bathroom shared with the entire floor (like 40 people!). I tried to shower but there was no shelf and the door would not shut all the way. Beds were extremely squeaky and facilities need updated and cleaned!

Wow, this was so so bad. Only positives: the one staff I saw was very friendly:the cleaning/putting out food lady. The breakfast was free and pretty good. But wow, the beds are super uncomfortable, covered in plastic. Its against bed bugs I know, but very uncomfortable and noisy, and hard. The room and bathroom area was not very clean. Shower and bathroom area super small, and hardly fit one person in front of one sink. So when someone needs to pass to go to the toilet, this is almost impossible. The walls are paper thin. I was unlucky to have a room right over the common area and you could hear everything-at night and early in the morning. There was some sort of cleaning/trolleys beeing pulled that made a lot of noise around 4 o clock at night and woke me up. The reception is not manned between 10 pm and 10 am-meaning its unsafe. People from outside can easily access because doors automatically opens when someone walks past inside. There was a drunk, dirty guy sleeping in the reception area. Room mate made noise, but since there was no receptionist nobody could help. I had booked two nights, but left after one. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

wir waren hier für drei nächte und konnten kaum schlafen.. es ist sehr hellhörig: man hört alles auf den fluren, das gebläse des händetrockners aus dem bad, die türen KNALLEN sehr laut zu und wenn sich jemand auf der matratze im schlaf dreht ist es auch sehr laut. die betten sind allgemein sehr ungemütlich, das kissen hart wie ein stein. die sanitären anlagen & zimmer sind nicht wirklich sauber und man hat in den duschen keine möglichkeit sich umzuziehen. **BEWARE OF BEDBUGS!!** zu all dem haben wir uns auch noch BETTWANZEN eingefangen.. die lage und das kostenlose frühstück waren für mich das einzig positive..

BEWARE OF BEDBUGS we woke up with lots of bed bug bites and apparently the hostel knows about them but doesn’t do anything about it except for those awful bedsheets made of plastic, which obviously does not keep them away. Still a beautiful hostel but bed bugs are a no go!

our room was full of bedbugs, we saw them crawling and had so many bites. the toilets on the second floor don’t close, you can turn the lock but the doors can still be opened. sad because the hostel itself is beautiful.

nice hostel, good location and the bathrooms are nice and clean. only negative is that my friends and I all got bed bugs ☹️

We booked for two nights. Found a Bedbug after the first night and told the receptionist. We got money for one night back but had to pay for the washing machines to wash all of our stuff (we did not want to bring these things back home) Then the code to our room was changed and the receptionist went home. No number or any way to contact anyone. Had to book another hotel late at night! Do NOT recommend!
