New Generation Hostel Lake Como

+ Das Hostel ist zentral gelegen allerdings an einer lauten Straße

- Die Mitarbeiter erklären nichts. Keine Informationen wo das Bad ist, die Küche oder das ich das Frühstück am Tag vorher anmelden müsste. Ich habe den Eindruck das die keine Lust auf ihre Arbeit haben. Keine Handtücher, keine Seife, keine Möglichkeit seine Kleidungsstücke während des Duschens aufzuhängen. Keine Aufenthaltsraum und die Küche ist sehr spärlich ausgestattet. Ich werde nicht wieder kommen.

- Tem um tipo de gerente la um tal de "Zee" um paquistanez mal educado grosso, alem de me roubar 2 diarias, me roubou 3 cafés da manhã tambem, mudei uma reserva de 2 dias por telefone disseram q estava ok, quando cheguei la esse " Zee " disse que eu havia perdido minhas diarias por não comparecimento, paguei mais 3 diaria depois com cafe da manhã incluso, ele negou q eu tivesse direito ao cafe da manhã e disse q era erro do booking. A cozinha é porca tem um micro ondas velho e enferrujado q se voce botar comida la dentro, corre o risco de pegar tétano, alem de na lixeira do lado da pia da cozinha ter até papel higienico com usado com excremento humano cheirando mal.

+ Beds were fairly comfortable but everyone seemed to be provided with poorly fitting sheets and no duvet cover. Location fine.

- You have to pay for soap and a towel - not uncommon for hostels however I didn't expect the soap to be for hands. There is NO soap in any if the bathrooms so unless everyone buys soap who is staying there, you can assume every door handle is filthy. The toilets are cramped and toilet paper is expected to go the bin, and not to be flushed which smells. They are trying to manufacture their own pandemic it feels. Furthermore, if you pay for a towel you expect to be able to hang it somewhere while you shower, but this is not possible. The showers are cramped too and you have to leave your clothes and towel on the floor, or balanced on the door handle. The shower doesn't drain properly so within a minute my clothes which I left on the floor were soaking wet. There is mould everywhere and this is the first place I have ever been to which doesn't even provide hand soap for basic hygiene.

+ The hostel is so close to the lake and there’s a pathway that you can follow along the lake that has gorgeous views. The staff was so kind and accommodating! They really care about the comfort of everyone staying there. They truly made my experience 10x better. The rooms are perfect if you want to make friends but also spacious enough so you don’t feel crammed together. There’s also lockers for your stuff which was great!

- 如果可以有會好一些。厠所有可以放衣物的地方更方便。設施一般都好。

+ La Ubicacion es ideal para todo, hay un local de comida a pasos y un supermercado a unos 5-7 min, la persona de la recepcion fue muy amable y respetuoso. Creo que deberia tener mejor valoracion considerando calidad-precio.

And absolute super star of customer service! 5 star customer service 👌 To the manageress of the histel: Please give this superheroes a pay rise or form of recognition! He is employee of the year !!! So professional and extremely helpful and hard working he made my stay wonderful and all the reception team.espexially Shadez Moustaffa were brilliant thanks guys!

- I would love to see privacy curtains at each bed I noticed people putting towels to try to get some privacy :)) Also maybe rail with soem.hangers wohld be so helpful to hang jacket and other clothes thanks so much!

+ Exceptional 5 Star service i received from Zee Moustafa and Shezad! Warm welcome kindness helpful friendly service with a smile. I would happily come back because of all wonderful people working in the hostel they made my experience special !!! Professionalism and 5 star hotel vibe from those guys! To the boss/ manager: Please gove those guys a pay rise or extra day off or a bonus they do exceptional job in a very natural way. I stayed in a lot of hostels in various countries in Europe and those guys are special team!!!

- Schlechtester Zustand der Bäder/Toiletten (Schimmel!) keine Abfallbehälter für das Klopapier in den Toiletten. Dürftiges Frühstück, regulär erst um 9 Uhr erhältlich, keinesfalls vor 8 Uhr möglich. Nach der Online-Registrierung mussten trotzdem nochmal alle Ausweise abgegeben werden, weil im Online-Formular das Ablaufdatum nicht abgefragt wurde. Die bei der Online-Registrierung/Online-Portal angegebene Telefonnummer ist falsch! Keine Reaktion auf Nachfragen via Booking.com oder über die eigene Chat-Angebote (Octo-Chat) Für größere Gruppen schwierig.

- Encourage owners to allow for at least one common toilet. For six bedroom dorm, common for people to use shower for long time in the morning and everyone else is unable to use a toilet. After waiting 40 minutes, I asked staff, and they refused access to any other toilet.
