IN Club Hostel

This usually is a very good place for a short stay and I never had a problem before (it was my go-to when travelling through Zagreb), however this time... BEDBUGS ... I have ended up with bedbug bites: arms, shoulders and a few even on my face. Bites do not always become symptomatic immediately (I have become an expert the past 2 days), more often in a few hours and I have not noticed it straight away in the morning but shortly after, when the swelling, burning and itching kicked in. As a result I did not take precautions when leaving the hostel to prevent taking some of the bugs with me. Then I checked the fresh reviews to see if there is a WARNING there and indeed there is a mention of bedbugs by someone during the summer already. This can happen at any hotel, hostel, anywhere really, I am aware of that. The question is, how long does it take to take action. I hope something will be done about it. For now however, I would like to warn my fellow travellers that at this moment this is the sad situation there.

The staff was nice.It is next to the railway so it was easy to get to the city center. There were bedbugs so I couldn't even lay in my bed.
