Construction going on all around the building Building started at 7.00 a.m My window was jammed open against scaffolding with a platform directly outside my window. This was a serious security risk Bed bugs I had to hoover the mattress and clean all my clothes due to contamination. The walls are very thin. You can hear everything from the adjoining rooms. Manager did nothing to resolve the situation despite being aware before guests booked.

There are good coffee shops nearby, but I wanted to make a coffee in the morning before going out - it would be nice to have a plunger etc in kitchen (not just instant coffee!) The pleasantness of a hostel stay depends on other guests being respectful. My room shared a wall with the kitchen and I had some issues with noise and banging cupboard doors late one night. But those people left and the rest of my stay was very peaceful and friendly.
