   Way too expensive around the full moon party, rooms are small and very cramped, they "offer" you a free night extra in exchange for a good review which is how they increase the rating of the hostel.

   This place claims to be the vibe with all the party….it is not! No one at pres before the full moon, no vibes at all. Expensive and super disappointing. The facilities were terrible. Don’t be fooled by the ratings - guests are offered a free night if they leave a 5 star review! Will not be coming back and won’t recommend. Talked to a few guests and they all had the same commentary!

   PLEASE READ: this hostel ONLY has good reviews because they have flyers offering free shots and a free night’s stay if you leave a positive review. I know this is a good location for full moon party but please be aware that this place is a total catfish. No locks on doors, no lockers in room, no power outlets, staff is unsure whether the beds they offer are still occupied or not. When shown our room, I was told to take a bed that still had someone’s belongings on it

   The place is okay. Is it as terrible as some people make it to be? No Do they overcharge? Yes I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and it‘s definitely for people who are absolute party animals. My room was okay although a part of the shower broke during my stay. The staff are all really nice but the Hostel itself is pretty loud and they constantly try to offer you stuff every ten seconds at the pool. They also give out free alcohol for good reviews. I still had a good time here although Id recommend to everyone to stay somewhere else in the area and party at WET since they let everyone into the Pool parties. Save some money, get a nicer room snd still get their awesome parties

   the staff was the only good thing about this property (besides the bartender, very rude). the beds were rock hard and discusting. so much wear & tear from the amount of people coming for full moon. 24hr housekeeping only sweeps up the the floor very quickly. they have so many good reviews because leaving one means you get a a free nights stay or free shot. also way to expensive for what you get. prices match all the other accommodation in the area, other accommodation is much nicer. naked people

   Like the top review says be aware of 5 stars reviews as they are giving away free accommodation for good reviews. Dorms are fine, beds are really hard and sooo loud. Crazy loud the ac in our room made the bed closest to it squeak. Biggest problem however with the dorms is the no locks, like common I stayed here for full moon party and a lot of people go to this party hostel to pre game before it anyone can just walk in your dorm and steal anything they want. Otherwise I had a really nice experience. Great location, great party and social vibe. Staff is nice, owner is really nice Fair price for buckets, 1 min away from full moon party

    We stayed here as it had a high rating but soon found out that this is only because they offer free accommodation for a good review. No locks on the doors or place to put your bags. The beds are noisy and uncomfortable. The toilet in our room broke, then the plugs and lights stopped working. We thought it was a power cut but the room next to us had power. We then decided to cut our losses and book somewhere else to stay, when we went to check out they tried to charge us for early check out even though our booking was fully paid up front. If you’re looking to go here for the pool parties, just stay up the road and go in for the party you will save yourself a lot of hassle.

    Don’t stay here if you want to sleep, it’s better to stay somewhere else and come here for pres. My room was right next to the party which didn’t stop, but I guess if you want to party 24/7 then this is the place for you. The beds are rock solid and there are no curtains on the beds and the doors don’t lock, we paid £40 a night during the full moon and I didn’t really know what we were paying for. The toilets are next to the party and available for the public so when you need to shower or use the toilet in the night they are filthy from party people using them. There are loads of good reviews but only because they advertise leaving a good review in exchange for a free night. I would strongly advise not staying here.

    We crawled out after our second night, unlike the bugs in our room. The room was filled with mosquitos, worms, spiders and therefore also a gecko. The room was cramped, 8 people in a very small space. The lockers were too small for our bags to fit in, even though the hostel is targetted towards backpackers. The rooms also did not have a lock, which is not safe, especially in a party hostel. The emergency escape, however, was locked shut with a thick chain, also unsafe. Nothing in the bathroom worked properly; the sink was leaking, the toilet buttons did not work and the shower holder was broken. We took our time to let the owner know that we would check out a day earlier than booked, and told her about the problems. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, she brushed it off and didn’t say anything. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a terrible place and it’s cheap, it’s a sociable hotel and the parties seemed really fun, but we simply couldn’t stay here comfortably. Edit after response: We’re disappointed by the defensive tone of your response, especially considering we made a point to raise our concerns directly with your staff during our stay. To clarify: We spoke to staff immediately after our first night about the issues we encountered, including the broken bathroom fixtures, the presence of bugs, and the lack of a lock on the room door. We also informed them in advance that we’d be leaving a day early due to these issues—not, as claimed, to “go to Koh Tao early.” We did not say “everything was fine.” If your staff failed to communicate this to you, that’s unfortunate, but it doesn’t make our concerns less valid. Our room was not even close to a door to the outside of the hostel. In fact, it was deep inside the building, with no direct outdoor access. That makes the locked emergency exit even more alarming and dangerous, especially in a party hostel where accidents could happen. Regarding the room conditions: saying a room has bugs because it's on a tropical island is understandable to a point, but the number and variety we encountered went far beyond what we’ve experienced elsewhere in similar climates. If housekeeping sanitized the room daily, the results didn’t reflect that. The broken bathroom elements—the leaking sink, the non-functioning toilet buttons, and the damaged shower holder—were very much real during our stay. Photos taken later may not reflect what we experienced at the time. About the lockers: yes, we understand they're meant for valuables. But with no lock on the room door and no way to secure our backpacks (which, as backpackers, hold most of our essentials), we didn’t feel safe leaving our belongings behind. Finally, your comment about “trying to break into a staff room or other locked door” is unnecessary and inappropriate. We mentioned the locked exit because it was visibly chained shut—a serious concern if an emergency were to occur. That should be taken seriously, not used as a way to discredit us. Also, since you’ve implied we’re trying to damage your business: if that were truly our goal, we would have mentioned your policy of giving guests free shots and even a free night in exchange for a five-star review. We didn’t. We wrote an honest account of our experience so future guests can make an informed choice. It’s unfortunate that instead of taking feedback constructively, you've chosen to dismiss it and question our integrity. That response speaks volumes.

    Beware of recent fake one star reviews, it is not from an actually customer. So i stay here for 3 days. AC is cold and quite. Only 1 shower per gender which is ok because I never had to wait. Drinks are cheap and lots of chairs. Music is nice and this place is about 2 minute walk to the beach. FULL MOON IS AWESOME. its a party experience not a luxury so no taxi need after party and the owners are caucasian so english is problem.
