The Black Sheep Hostel

I didn’t get a chance at the breakfast so I can’t say but it smelled really good. I really liked how well maintained everything was. When traveling, any furniture wood or fabric based really freaks me out— fear of bed bugs and cleanliness. I was put more at ease after seeing people actively cleaning. The air circulation was pretty bad. I was in the room of 6 at the top bunk and at night even with the windows open it was terribly stuffy, like HOTBOXING. My first night I had been traveling all day so I was exaughsted and passed out but woke up in a sticky mess. There was an older guy in my room who kept asking the door be left open but it seemed like every other person would shut it. I was honestly scared he would pass on his sleep the way he was inhaling. I would suggest the facilities invest in a fan to just keep air flowing, at least. 6 people in a room, deeply exhaling with only two cracked windows wasn’t enough.

Really lovely hostel. Nice outdoor area, helpful staff and a couple of very friendly resident dogs! However, there were bedbugs in my room (female 6 dorm, ‘Greece’) so I wouldn’t recommend staying here until this is fixed.
