Park Villa

I know this place used to have bedbugs, and the manager was a miserable guy who would come up with any excuse to cover his own shortcomings by blaming the guests. Truly disgraceful behavior.

Great: got a really nice dorm room with just one other person, quiet restful night, friendly reception, possible to get a charger/converter, lock, paid towel, very convenient location for the metro, ok clean. Some of the bathrooms smelled a bit moldy but there are more than enough to avoid those, and it's a hostel after all. Didn't use the kitchen. Here is my number one problem why I cannot give full stars: I woke up with a couple of spots in one place that looked like bedbug bites. I did not find any other traces of these, so maybe it was something else, but I am still doubtful and the lockers are on the floor right under the bed, so even though I tried to check my luggage I still worry about that sometimes.

The cupboard by the bed wouldn't close when charging with an adapter. If I'm staying here again I will probably buy a UK socket compatible charger to avoid this issue and be able to charge my phone throughout the night. The top bunk was a bit wobbly, even when someone was walking in the room without touching the bed.
