NAP Hostel

Hostel has a great location and staff is great. But I saw the people organizing a bed on my side one day and they didn’t even change the bed sheets and keep the same used by another person for the next person. That’s why they have so many bed bugs, my body is completely eaten by those. Staff running the hostel is very nice and vibes are good but it’s impossible to enjoy a hostel so full of bed bugs

As soon as I arrived at the establishment I noticed that the room was not clean, I found bed bugs. So I immediately went back to the reception to claim and cancel my stay. No solutions proposed by the establishment as if it were normal. After a complaint on booking, the establishment agrees to cancel and refund me. But after more than a month I still haven’t received my refund and without explanation. The worst establishment and customer service I have ever met.

The only thing are the bathrooms- there’s only 2 showers for girls and 2 toilets. Showers get congested and it’s rather tight.

One of the least secure and least hygienic accommodations I've ever stayed in, and I would not return. If you care about security or hygiene, this place falls far short. Security: For several days during my stay, the main gate to the house was left wide open because the door lock keypad was broken. On top of that, the glass panel of the floor entrance door suddenly fell out one morning, leaving the property completely accessible to anyone. Hygiene: Cleanliness is clearly not a priority here. I had bed bugs in my bed (with multiple bites to prove it), and even ended up with head lice. I won't share the photos, but it was truly unacceptable. Privacy & Comfort: The dorm rooms have no curtains on the beds, which makes it impossible to have any privacy-especially in a mixed dorm. With the bathroom outside the room, even changing clothes became extremely uncomfortable. Overall, I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

BED BUGS INFESTATION !!! My stay was ruined by bedbugs discovered in my bed during my second night at this hostel. In total, I had more than 60 bites all over my body (including my face), was psychologically traumatized by the idea of bringing them home with me, and had my vacation completely ruined because I had to change accommodations, throw away a lot of things (clothes, backpack, sneakers because they were everywhere), and do several loads of laundry at 60°C to get rid of them. 
At the end, I was forced to cancel the rest of my trip because I had a severe allergic reaction and, after seeing a doctor, I had to take medication...

The hostel should be treated for the safety and, above all, the health of its guests... Given the situation, I don’t recommend this hostel, despite its friendly staff.

The bathroom usage wasn't very comfortable for me and the toilets are super small - people with claustrophobia should beware. However, the worst part are the bedbugs. I think that everyone is affected, but unless someone has super many bites, they don't realize. All of the hustle of washing cleaning desinfacting the clothes was really a pain... I think the owner should care more and do some solid desinfaction! Also in our room the door handle was broken and was constantly falling apart and they didn't see the problem.

!!!! Bettwanzen & mangelnde Hygiene !!! Ich hatte zunächst nur eine Nacht gebucht, konnte schon einen Tag früher anreisen. Erstmal positiv. Ich las allerdings erst nach meiner Buchung die Bewertungen und die Berichte über den Bettwanzenbefall im Hostel. Woraufhin ich das Hostel kontaktierte und man mir versicherte, dass es sich um keinen Befall hanselt, sonderns wenn überhaupt, um Einzelfälle, was immermal in einem Hostel vorkommen könnte. Der Kontakt im Vorfeld war freundlich, allerdings fiel mir der Besitzer später im Hostel selbst durch eine sehr überhebliche, von oben herab wirkende Art auf. Die erste Nacht verlief ohne Probleme. In der zweiten Nacht, nachdem ich in ein anderes Zimmer gewechselt bin, (Zimmer „Mi“, Bett rechts neben der Tür) entdeckte ich jedoch tatsächlich eine Bettwanze in meinem Bett. Damit haben sich die Berichte anderer Gäste bestätigt!!! Die Reaktion des Hostels war bedauernd, wirkte jedoch wie eine Standardfloskel – konkrete Maßnahmen oder echtes Verantwortungsbewusstsein waren nicht zu erkennen. Auch die Sauberkeit lässt stark zu wünschen übrig, besonders in den Badezimmern. Insgesamt machte die Unterkunft keinen hygienischen Eindruck. Nach dem Aufenthalt musste ich meine gesamten Sachen waschen und hatte zwei juckende Bisse, auf die ich allergisch reagierte. Sehr schade, denn die Lage ist super und das Hostel hätte eigentlich Potential. Aufgrund der Bettwanzen, der mangelhaften Hygiene und des überheblichen Auftretens des Besitzers werde ich jedoch nicht wiederkommen.

Nach dem Aufenthalt musste ich mein gesamtes Reisegepäck waschen und hatte zwei juckende Bisse, auf die ich allergisch reagierte. Schade, denn Lage und Potenzial wären gut. Wegen Bettwanzen, mangelnder Hygiene und dem Auftreten des Besitzers werde ich nicht wiederkommen.

However, no reimburse will ever be enough for the horrible experience of having the bed bugs. After two weeks, I'm still under medication for what happened. I would never wish to anyone to go through the same experience i've been through..

Avoid - they currently have a bed bug infestation. I stayed one night in a female dorm and ended up with 20+ bites that are incredibly painful and then accidentally transferred to a friend within hours of leaving before realizing what was going on. I lost a day getting new luggage and cleaning or throwing out everything. It’s not worth the cost savings and none of the details about the hostel matter until this is fixed (I wish I had realized how common this was from previous reviews).

Stayed on 10/2 in female dorm, ended up with 20+ painful bed bug bits and accidentally transferred to a friend after leaving. I lost a day getting new luggage and cleaning or throwing out everything. While the hostel had some nice features (courtyard, healthy breakfast, secure storage lockers) I wouldn't stay there again. I only got mngt attention and refund after leaving a bad review and being asked to take it down...! Apparently they do weekly bedbug checks but other reviews show similar issue

Nonostante il posto possa sembrare carino, il problema più grosso è l'infestazione delle cimici da letto. Se me ne fossi resa conto subito, non avrei passato un solo minuto li dentro. Ho dormito due giorni nella struttura e la mattina del secondo giorno, dopo essermi svegliata con enormi segni di puntura su braccia e mani, ho avuto la sgradita e disgustosa sorpresa di vedere le cimici da letto circolare nella stanza. Ho preso le mie cose e sono andata via dal posto, ma facendo prima presente alla reception il gravissimo problema. Per quanto mi riguarda, una volta fuori da lì ho preso tuttee precauzioni per evitare di essermi portata dietro ospiti sgraditi igienizzando e disinfettanto tutti i miei effetti personali. Il posto avrebbe bisogno di una immediata e profonda disinfestazione ed anche un po' di pulizia più approfondita (compresi i contenitori della differenziata in cucina). Quello che mi lascia perplessa è l'assoluto menefreghismo dei gestori del posto. ps: nulla da dire sul funzionamento del wifi e sul giardino, che valuto positivamente

Había chinches y tengo piquetes por todo el cuerpo. Hoy por la mañana estaban caminando por las sábanas.

Ero consapevole di andare in un ostello (ero in un dormitorio da 8). Quello che invece non mi sarei aspettata era l’incontro con le cimici da letto. Ieri sera avevo cominciato ad avvertire del prurito alle braccia, ma pensavo che fossero le zanzare. Ma stamattina, le ho proprio viste e qualcuna ha provato anche ad accompagnarmi per il resto del mio viaggio. Ho a consigliato alla reception di rivedere un po’ la politica sull’igiene, ed ho mostrato il braccio “martoriato”dai morsi dei poco simpatici animaletti. Sono corsa in farmacia ed ho comprato tutto ciò che potesse servire sia ad alleviare prurito ed eventuale infezione che a disinfettare ed igienica e il mio zaino ed i miei effetti.

Bedbugs!!! Bettwanzen!!! Ich kann leider nur dringend von diesem Hostel abraten. Während meines Aufenthalts habe ich dort einen massiven Befall mit Bettwanzen erlebt. In meinem Bett waren nicht nur Kot- und Blutflecken sichtbar, sondern auch mehrere Tiere selbst. Die Flecken wurden jede Nacht mehr, wodurch auch die Aktivität der Wanzen erkennbar war. Nachdem ich das Hostel verlassen hatte, habe ich sogar noch Bettwanzen-Nymphen in meinem Gepäck und an meiner Kleidung entdeckt – ein extrem belastender und ekelhafter Vorfall, der auch das Risiko mit sich bringt, die Tiere mit nach Hause zu schleppen. Der zusätzliche Stress, die Sorge um mein Gepäck und die notwendigen Maßnahmen sind enorm. Es ist völlig inakzeptabel, dass ein Hostel so etwas nicht in den Griff bekommt oder offen kommuniziert. Gäste sollten unbedingt vorgewarnt sein. Sehr schade, denn das Hostel an sich und die Atmosphäre dort waren eigentlich sehr schön. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Unfortunately there were BED BUGS in my room, which really ruined the stay. We even took photos, but the staff member at reception wasn’t very friendly, seemed skeptical, and acted more like he just didn’t want other guests to find out. I’ll get part of my money back, but the whole situation was very unpleasant. Apart from that, the hostel itself has a great social vibe. The bar and breakfast staff were super nice, and trivia night plus the group cooking were real highlights. Without the bed bugs I would have really enjoyed my time here.

Bettwanzen

This was my first time encountering bed bugs at a hostel. I stayed here from August 24th to 26th. 1. On the first night, I noticed a strange odor coming from the bed every now and then before falling asleep. Since I’m not one to make a fuss, I tried to ignore it. The next morning, the girl staying in the bunk above me mentioned that she had been bitten by bugs and needed to change beds. At the time, I didn’t think much of it since the bites on my body hadn’t become visible yet. Actually, that afternoon, I went back for a nap and woke up with bite marks. I thought they were mosquito bites, but looking back, they were classic bed bug bites: large, flat, red welts with a small dot in the center. 2. On the second day, I woke up with several obvious bites on my arms and legs. Since I’m usually prone to mosquito bites, I assumed I’d been bitten while out exploring (I really should have checked my body more carefully—I regret it now). The girl from the upper bunk had already moved out and asked if I’d been bitten too. I said no at the time, since accusing a place of having bed bugs is a serious matter. 3. By the third day, the bites on my exposed skin had significantly increased. As my trip was coming to an end, I went shopping and tried on some clothes. It was in the fitting room that I finally took a close look at my entire body—and I was horrified. I had very typical bed bug bites all over my back, shoulders, buttocks, and lower back. There were shocking clusters of bright red welts, with two or three large bites grouped together, inflamed and swollen. I had over thirty bites in total—it was terrifying. I immediately lost all interest in continuing my trip and went back to confront the hostel staff. The staff’s reaction was quite interesting: they repeatedly insisted that "it could be anything." From start to finish, there was not a single word of comfort—just a cold suggestion to "relax" (as if I were making a big deal out of nothing).

One of the other rooms had a bed bug problem so the hostel moved all those girls into our room. Location is central to everything however the walk from the nearest train station felt very unsafe.

The bathroom tiles are very dirty, the drain is clogged, and I left with lots of bedbug bites. This isn't good, I have a lot of bites.

Very quaint place right in the heart of the small streets of Napoli, very helpful staff upon check-in and check-out, cute tiny breakfast, there is absolutely no bedbug infestation as some suggest. Very cool and diverse travellers in dorm, unforgettable.. I reiterate there is no bedbug infestation but there was a notice for a cockroach infestation clean up 2 weeks ago, but i saw no cockroaches but minus point, bc people want to know before booking. For the rest, best hostel in Napoli i visited!

BEDBUGS! I found a bedbug on my second day and brought it to reception. The manager wasn’t very interested and also didn’t offer me a new bed. The next day I woke up with bites all over my body and also other people in the dorm found bed bugs too so we all demanded to change room. I did end up getting 50% of my money back as they could see the bites all over my body! The hostel also isn’t very social, the only chill out area is the garden and there are lots of mosquitoes too. Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience.

Bathrooms weren’t super clean. And there was issues with other rooms having bed bugs which probably means all rooms have them.

Bedbugs kind of ruin your experience in a hostel. Especially if there are no vacant beds and guess you just gotta sleep in that bed or idk, like a hobo on the street

El hostel tiene un muy lindo ambiente y la gente que trabaja allí es excelente. Desgraciadamente, al menos hasta los primeros días de julio, te podía tocar una cama con 'chinches de cama'/'bed bugs'. Me tocó una y tras 4 días no sólo me fui lleno de ronchas en un brazo y un poco en otras partes del cuerpo (con picazón contante y despertándome en algunas noches para rascarme y con nuevas ronchas), sino que las chinches se metieron en mi ropa y valija y me acompañaron a mi siguiente destino. Terminé con muchísimas ronchas por tooodo el cuerpo, teniendo que ponerme crema + antialérgico por 5 días y lavando toda mi ropa + pertenencias a 60 grados (lo cual hizo que algunas prendas de algodón se achiquen). Recomendación: Revisar las opiniones más recientes a ver si se arregló el problema de las chinches antes de reservar en este hostel.

The bed and linen was dirty, it definitely had bed bugs. Just the sleeping space in general was not clean. They don't turn on the air conditioning until 7pm, and from then they just blast it the whole night, which leads you to sweat uncontrolably in the day and cough and shiver at night.

BE AWARE OF THE BEDBUGS! CHECK THE GOOGLE REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING RESERVATIONS. I have to say I like the vibes of this hostel and met really nice travellers and staff, but bedbugs were really a nightmare. And I found it’s weird I didn’t see related comment on Booking.com I got bitten by the bedbugs in the female dorm. I stayed three nights, first two nights in 10 mixed dorm and the last night in female dorm. For the 10 mixed room, I quite liked it, especially when everyone respected each other. But the room is right next to a very noisy street, better to close the balcony door, but then the room became quite stuffy. Hard to close the door properly and quietly, need to be fixed. For the female dorm, before moving in, I was informed by other roommates that some guests found bedbugs in female dorm and they told the staff. I asked the staff on the day I checked in my last night and was told they’ve already sent professional to do the clean, so should be fine. BUT I got bitten from ankle to the cheek, and couldn’t sleep the whole night. Also I killed two bedbugs.

The hostel itself is nice, good location, lovely garden area and the included breakfast is a nice touch. Unfortunately none of that really matters because I was tortured with bed bug bites (30+ across my whole body) and I'm now terrified I've brought them home with me in my luggage. I've seen a couple of reviews with the same issue. Seriously needs to get pest control involved, it's a shame because it's a nice hostel otherwise.

Great stay, super lovely and welcoming staff and facilities / rooms are Morden and comfortable. Huge downfall is that the female dorm was infested with bedbugs, leaving me with several bites and infested clothes as well. The staff was very helpful when faced with the situation and offered to clean my clothes + ensured to call pest control promptly which comes to do weekly checks anyways. Check beds and surroundings carefully in check-in.

Overall, this is a great hostel. It's in a great spot in Napoli, within walking distance of most of the neighborhoods you're likely to spend time in. The rooms were comfortable, and spacious. Access to rooms and lockers is with a bracelet. A good social vibe and friendly staff. HOWEVER, I did encounter bed bugs (Room Si). Staff did hot wash and dry my belongings and give money off, but didn't move me immediately. Bed bugs happen at hostel. But exercise caution and check your bed and bedding.

The hostel is nice, location is nice, and the kitchen is nice. But unfortunately we found bedbugs in our beds. We went to the manager. They helped us washing clothes and offered us a refund. That was very nice of them. But if i tell you there are bedbugs in the room, you should tell this to the whole room and you can’t just clean it and let people sleep again in the room. That gives me the feeling u don’t want to solve the problem and just ignore it. Please fix your problems!

Je vous écris pour exprimer mon mécontentement concernant une expérience désagréable lors de mon récent séjour réservé via votre site. Dans l’hébergement où je séjournais, j’ai découvert la présence de punaises de lit, ce qui a causé de nombreuses piqûres sur mon corps. Lorsque j’ai signalé le problème à la réception, le réceptionniste m’a simplement donné une crème et a accordé une remise sur mon séjour. Cependant, c’est uniquement après mon insistance qu’ils ont consenti à changer le lit

Manche vom Personal sind sehr sehr nett, manche haben keine Lust was man ihnen anmerkt. die Rezeption und damit auch der Zugang zum Garten ist deutlich öfters geschlossen als angegeben. gegen 21.30 war oft schon niemand mehr da. die Duschen im geteilten Bad sind leider sehr sehr dreckig- man sieht dass dort nur wenig geputzt wird. der Rest war aber okay. Ich war mit erst nicht sicher , aber am Ende hat sich herausgestellt dass meine Matratze Bettwanzen hat. dafür kann das Hostel wahrscheinlich nichts, ist aber trotzdem eklig.

Was nice but I got bedbugs at the start of my trip, really ruined the rest of my trip and had really painful sores all over me .

A couple of people in the 10 person dorm found bed bugs on their bed. Staff were happy to move them to the other room. I didn't have any on mine and didn't suffer any bites. Showers and toilets are very cramped and if you're a big you will suffer. Also for some reason the wall that divides the men's and women's bathroom ends prematurely so there's only a temporary divider at the back to about 1.5 m. A girl walked into that area while I was getting changed in the shower and she had the entire view into the boys bathroom area. I don't think boys can peer into the girls area though (I didn't try to check for obvious reasons). It was a weird interaction. 10 bed hostels dorm has its own challenges of course. I would not recommend if

J'ai eu le malheur, d'avoir été dévoré par des aoûtats, j'ai eu la confirmation par mon médecin dès mon retour en France. Mon corps ainsi que mon visage ont fortement été marqués. Les aoûtats devaient être dans le matelas, car j'avais des nouveaux boutons chaque matin. Enfin, il vaut mieux ça que des punaises de lit ! Trop peut de douche et de toilettes pour le nombre de personnes qu’il y a. Le manque d'intimité et de place dans les douches, clairement la vitre est transparente, donc on voit tout. Le manque de place dans les toilettes.

i was there from the 12-14 july and ended up with bed bug bites all over myself ! property was great and staff were friendly, but the bed cleanliness was not that great.

Todo muy lindo, la gente que trabaja ahí es buena onda, el lugar es limpio y está bien ubicado, me gusta la tecnología del brazalete para abrir las puertas, lo único que agregaria es cortinas en las camas para más "intimidad" y el agua de la ducha que sea caliente. Lo único malo es q me picaron bedbugs pero puede haber en todos lados.

Unfortunately, there were bed bugs that prompted me to sleep in the common area and leave early the next day. The front desk attendant was understanding, offered a full refund, and said they would take steps to get rid of it.

Unfortunately there were a lot of bed bugs in my room during the first night. I could not sleep well the whole night. After complaining, the sympathetic staff (Francesco) offered another room which was much better. Then I could finally rest!

Bedbugs in my dorm in every beds. Impossible to sleep on the beds. No reception at night, had to sleep on a couch in the common area. Didn’t get refund. I don’t recommend this place at all
