Water coming out in a darkened colour, someone took a dump in the showers and it wasn’t cleaned for ages until multiple people had moaned, it’s so dusty you can barely breathe, electricity keeps turning on & off, now I’m itching like hell with a rash so probably bed bugs, the restaurant breakfast is cold and closes early and there’s not much selection, on top of all this the staff are actually so rude - I was stuck in India due to Middle Eastern war so my visa ran out during my stay, I was on an extension from the FRRO which I showed them the ID for so they could contact the FRRO to confirm. They woke me up from my sleep THREE TIMES, twice calling my phone and once with two full grown men physically coming in to FEMALE ONLY dorm at 2am in the morning basically trying to tell me I had to contact the FRRO or leave at 2am by myself, which offices are open at 2am?? They called the police who advised the to not put a solo female traveller in a dangerous situation and allow me to stay and call the FRRO in the morning. I had given them sufficient evidence to leave my alone the first time they asked but to continue to pester me at this hour is blatant harassment. AVOID

I stayed in Moustache hostel rishikesh on 11/08/2024 night in 5 Persons dorm. I got Rat bite from the hostel at 4am morning. Also they eat our fruits and snacks. there are lot of bed bugs and cockroaches i found in the room. When we informed in reception, the staff was irresponsible to manage our problem

住宿期間的氣溫有些低，但房間沒有暖氣，也要不到暖爐。跟櫃台反映，他表示會拿一個毯子來，但是這個毯子並沒有送到。 隔天再反應一次，終於送來毯子，結果上面有一隻床蟲（如圖）。結果我立刻退回那個毯子，不敢再要毯子了。隔天跟經理反應，他說已經有找清潔公司來處理這件事。但如果我沒有反應，他們也不會告知我後續。 請櫃台幫忙訂計程車到車站，要求的費用是實體的接近三倍。後來我們直接在街上約到合理價錢的計程車。 這間飯店很新，但熱水不夠、服務很差，預約請三思。 PS:會提前要求付款，但明明已經提供信用卡帳號，害我以為是詐騙。 The temperature was a bit low during our stay, but there was no heater in the room. Reported to the counter and he said he would bring a blanket, but the blanket was not delivered. We asked again the next day, and finally, a blanket was delivered, it turned out there was a bed bug on it (pictured). As a result, I immediately returned the blanket, not daring to ask for another blanket. I told the manager the next day and he said that a cleaning company had been hired to handle the matter. But if I don’t respond, they won’t tell me what to do next. Asking the counter to help us book a taxi to the station will cost nearly three times the actual price. Later, we directly booked a taxi at a reasonable price on the street. This hotel is very new, but the hot water is not enough and the service is very poor. Please think twice about making a reservation.
