Party Hostel Zzz

found bed bugs, had to move hostel. was informed we would get a full refund and have not received this over 3 weeks later. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Très déçue de mon expérience dans cette auberge. Les chambres sont très peu équipées (pas de rideau, aucun support pour laisser des affaires personnelles à côté du lit). J’ai remarqué des piqures de punaise de lit après ma nuit. La salle de douches / toilettes était sale. Je ne m’y sentais pas en sécurité, et impossible de dormir au deuxième étage à cause du bruit (musique jusqu’à 4h du matin au moins). Je devais rester deux nuits et j’ai préféré écourter mon séjour (aucun geste commercial).

Bedbugs. Showed my bites to reception and they apologised and said they would organise a refund for both of the nights I stayed. I sent photos to the email as proof but only received a refund of one night and was told my bites looked like mosquito bites. I am an adult that has lived in Asia and Australia my whole life I know that mosquito bites don’t show up in lines on your back, legs and hands whilst you’re in bed and stay visible for a week. Gross and rude.

I had bed bugs. Bites all over me. Reception moved me 2 floors down. I inspected that bed, still had bed bugs. They clearly have a problem. They assured me id get a refund for my stay. Ive waited more than 3 weeks now and still nothing. They keep telling me “its coming” and “we refunded you weeks ago” yet nothing is in my bank account. I asked for a receipt of refund and now they have gone radio silent. Girls at reception that I delt with during this situation were great however the team has been horrible since. I had to book a hotel and because it was the day of it was very expensive. So on top of that and now not getting a refund after I was assured MANY times, i would 1000% not stay here, as if the bed bug infestation was not enough reason to not stay. They were even making up the first bed ready for another guest when I walked passed instead of trying to clean the bed and room properly so this doesnt happen again. 0/10

There is no air con in the building. The showers are disgusting and the rooms are grimey, four of us woke up covered in bites unsure whether it’s bedbugs or bug bites. The reception and bar is so lovely but the rest is so disappointing. The pub crawl is a scam its 3 bars & u get a juice shot on arrival which they make you give a 5 star review in order to receive. You have to pay for towels & it’s just overall not a great experience. The location is great but that’s about it.

Very nice location, easily accessible to the main square and just a couple minutes away from the bus station. They play good music all day and during the night it gets a bit louder due to this is a Party hostel. I read all complaints about music and still booked this place and that didn’t bother me honestly. I can only complain about the beds, which is something really important. There are bed bugs and i guess it explains why would i complain.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOSTEL. We had the worst experience staying here. Our room was infested with bed bugs & I was COVERED in bites after the first night. The staff were useless and had no idea what to do or how to help with the situation and were rude on multiple occasions also. The facilities were not clean at all. The bathroom situation was very odd. The only good thing was the location. Will Not stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone.

Not necessarily a bad hostel, but definitely not the best. The very first night I got in at about 2am and went straight to bed on the second floor. After about 20 minutes of laying on my phone I was horrified to notice that my bed was absolutely crawling with bed bugs. I immediately removed all my belongings from the room and went to go shower in a panic as I figured out what to do next. I was planning to pull an all nighter, check out in the morning and go do my laundry as soon as possible to get them out of my clothing and backpack which has been on the bed. One of the reception guys came upstairs and after I told him what had happened he offered to get me another room and a free laundry pod/use of the machines and to not tell other guests as to not cause a panic. I appreciated the quick response and offer to help, but I feel as though at least the people in our room should have been made aware of the situation as to not continue the spread of the pests. After finishing my laundry at 6am I went to bed on the 4th floor and stayed there for the following two nights of my stay, paranoid, but after checking thoroughly the bed appeared cleaner. The hostel bathrooms are fine, but the doors don't property lock/are broken and the showers flood the room occasionally at least on the floor I was staying on. Nice to have a kitchen on each floor and interestingly decorated common areas, though each kitchen is kind of understocked (like no bowls for example??). I didn't find it to be too loud and the location is a good walking distance from both the bus/train station and the inner city sights. It's fine if you have no better options to stay in. But please for the love of god check your sheets before sleeping in them.

someone’s bag got stolen while I was at this hostel, security was poor - the luggage room was often left unlocked and anyone could enter from the street and access it without reception seeing. Plus, bed bugs!!!! the showers and toilets had mould and were very unclean too. don’t stay here

Stayed for two nights. My partner got bites all over his back and up to his face. Went to doctors as some got pretty bad and they said they’re bed bug bites. (Do have a video but not letting me upload) Rooms were okay other than the bugs. Large room with big lockers under the bed. Was on top floors and didn’t hear much music. Other than loud drunk people. But it’s a party hostel so. Bathrooms are what you’d expect for the price and amount of people. The people at reception were a bit grumpy but also what you’d expect from working there. Kitchen was lacking and dirty. No one really washed their dishes. Definitely not worth the price.

Unsauberes Hostel. Bei der Anreise trafen wir sofort Bettwanzen an. Der Service ist der schlechteste und unfreundlichste den ich jemals in meinem Leben erlebt habe. Wir baten um eine Rückerstattung des Geldes und es wurde uns garantiert das wir das Geld zurück bekommen, da wir nach 5 minuten sofort Bettwanzen entdeckt haben, bis heute ist kein Geld zurück erstattet worden. Das Pesonal lügt Kunden an über die Internetverbindung. Ein Stern ist noch viel zu gut bewertet. Ich werde in kürze ein YouTube video veröffentlichen das Videos und Bilder zeigt die bestätigen was ich hier sage. Es gibt so viele andere Hostels in Ljubljana die Qualitativ super sind, verschwendet euer Geld nicht an dieses Hostel.

Would not recommend staying here. I found bed bugs, the bathrooms were unclean and a bit gross. Very hot rooms and no aircon. The staff were very nice and refunded me for the bed bugs. Good location.

Ich war im September alleine dort und hatte einen ganzen Sechser-Schlafsaal für mich. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl im Hostel also kann es sein das man jeden Tag relativ viel Treppen laufen muss. In dem Zimmer gibt es einen kleinen Tisch, ein Sessel und Stühle sowie ein Mülleimer. Es gibt unter den Doppelbetten Spins, die von der Größe her in Ordnung sind, einer in meinem Zimmer hat leider nicht funktioniert da er kaputt war. Im Flur gibt es am Ende des Ganges, teilweise Trockner und Waschmaschinen und neben an ein Badezimmer für alle Gäste mit duschen und Toiletten. Die Duschen sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig da die Kabine seltsam gebaut ist aber sie funktionieren. Ebenso gibt es ein Küchenbereich im Flur und ein Gemeinschafts Kühlschrank unten im Hostel gibt es Aufenthaltsräume mit sehr viel Couch und Sessel. Zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem ich dort war, haben sich dort jedoch quasi nie Leute auf gehalten, Wenn ich Leute gesehen habe, dann waren sie bei der Bar auch im untersten Stock oder im Außenbereich dort kommen auch Kellnerin und bringen die Nachfrage Getränke. Ich denke wenn das Hostel etwas mehr Besuch hat, ist es bestimmt auch sehr lohnenswert, sich in den Aufenthaltsräumen aufzuhalten. Die Lage ist gut, man kann fußläufig relativ schnell zu den zentralen Orten kommen also zum Fluss und hat von dort aus auch direkt die Sicht auf dem Berg mit der Burg. Das Personal im Hostel war oft nicht am Tresen, und man musste etwas warten. Als am letzten meiner Abende, fünf neue Gäste in mein Zimmer kamen, ist einem Mann aufgefallen, dass es Bettwanzen gibt. Er und eine andere Frau haben daraufhin nach Aufforderung ihr Bett gewechselt. Die Leute, die ich dort getroffen haben, waren alle sehr nett. Für den Preis der kostet Aufenthalt denke ich definitiv in Ordnung.

It was great (even if there aren’t any lockers) until we found bed bugs in the room. The reception already knew about it but they did nothing ! So be careful when you sleep, that shouldn’t happen to anyone !!!

Bed bugs... It can happen... I warned the hostel after getting bitten so that they would do something for the next ones. No reply...

Lovely location so close to the bus stop wich is hood to get to bled or airport. beautiful place and city lots of places to eat and explore however hostel wasn’t the best! We had bed bugs and it wasn’t very pleasant. We did get moved to another room on the top floor wich the staff said was where they stayed as it was free of bugs. We were promised a refund however haven’t received one.The new room was pleasant just a shame we had to have a night of bugs!

Leider wurden in meinem 6er Zimmer Bedbugs entdeckt, sodass alle das Zimmer verlassen haben. Die Tiere waren sogar schon zu sehen! Ich habe mir daraufhin ein Hotelzimmer gebucht. Dennoch hatte ich zum Glück eine kompetente Mitarbeiterin hinter den Theresen . Der Gesamteindruck war gut aber was die Sauberkeit betrifft eher schmuddelig
