Blue Magic Hostel

***BEDBUGS**** This place is a dump. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy! They have bedbugs, terrible accommodations and overpriced. Look elsewhere - only reason we stayed here is because there were no other options. Worst hostel I have ever stayed in of all time

BED BUGS RUN I did 2 nights thought booking, and then a week directly via the hostel. At first it was ok, then I saw they were decontaminating a bed, I myself saw one bedbug coming out of my notepad, then I changed bed, but 2 days after I was severely bitten, then I changed rooms (upgrade) , and it did nothing. If I can’t blame the hostel for the presence of bedbugs, I can blame them for the management of the situation : - At first they didn’t let us know what was happening - They decontaminated zone after zone, but this is an endemic problem , you should close everything down for a day and decontaminate everything at the same time even if you lose money - I asked then to wash my clothes so I can eliminate the problem before moving out and not contaminate the whole island, I was answered « it’s not the hostel policy » at first. Then I was allowed to do it, but didn’t get the chance to finish it ( I did on machine, and had to stop the second one while it was running because of staff hours) I was able to reduce the numbers of nights yes, and they partially allowed me to wash my clothes, but I would recommend you to avoid the hostel because I fear they will have the problem for a moment if they don’t close it down (one a the staff member told me the first room I was in was treated 2 weeks prior to my arrival), so it was not really news to them…
