Lub d Manila Makati

BED BUGS Good location, friendly staff, and well-designed rooms. However, I saw bed bugs on my bed immediately after check-in. I am writing this review while waiting for my new room. Have been already waiting longer than an hour…..

The location of Lub d Hotel is great, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly. Facilities are also VERY good. I really enjoyed the lobby area with the study/working space, billiards, games, and even a lounge where you can rest and sleep. They also have secured luggage storage which is super convenient, especially if you arrive before check-in. The price was reasonable and at first the family room seemed okay, but unfortunately I got really itchy during my stay. I’m not sure if it was bed bugs, dust mites, or something else — but since the room had Japanese-style beds (mattresses on the floor), I think it really needs deep cleaning, especially under the beds and fresh sheets checked carefully. It’s a shame because the hotel itself has great facilities and a nice vibe, but cleanliness in the room should definitely be improved.
