Stayokay Eindhoven

I would not stay here again! Long story short; reception was rude during check in, and also during check out. The shower drains are clogged, so after 1 minute of showering, the whole bathroom floor is wet. We booked 2 rooms of 6 beds, and the friends staying in room 103 found bed bugs when they got back home. Then we found a review from 4 weeks ago and also 5 months ago about people who stayed in room 103, also experienced bed bugs. When I called about it with management, they mentioned they couldn't compensate us because she said they got the room professionally cleaned and the professionals didn't find anything so it couldn't be bed bugs. But its no coincidence that all the friends staying in that room, found bed bugs in their bag/cloths when they got home. No apology, and no compensation.

I got bitten by bedbugs, avoid at all costs.

Woke up to lots of bites and checked the bedding to see bed bugs. After informing the staff about this, I was simply told they’d inform the cleaning staff - that’s it. Not great

Very dirty full of bed bugs, I got bites for the bed bugs all over my body.... The cleaning was terrible. After I saw the bites I went on reception to complain. They say was weird . After that the provide me a private room but also dirty but dirty Insane condition. Should be closed definitely for the price of 2 night 100€ i got bites and terrible sleep because was loud music for other rooms . I recommend to speak with authorities to shut down that building. I saw plenty of bad reviews for that hostel ... the people who give 5 starts on hostel is literally BOT OR ROBOT OR PAID PEOPLE. I should get refund for that bad things happen there to me ... But instead they just give that room

The worst experience ever. We booked a room for 6 people (there were 5 of us) for one night before our morning flight. We arrived around 10 PM and entered room 103. The floors were dirty, and the bathroom trash bin was full — clearly the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Around 1 AM my friend and I started itching, checked the Booking reviews, and realized the place had bed bug issues. When we turned on the light, we even saw one on the wall. We immediately packed our things, threw away the pajamas we were wearing, and went to the reception. They opened the hotel café for us to stay in until our flight, and there were also three other guests who left their room for the same reason. It was freezing inside. We are requesting a full refund!!!!!!!

My bed light wasn't working and the person at the reception said that they need someone from the IT department to check it and it could only be done the next day, after I was already gone. I arrived around 5pm. This was silly because a simple light bulb change would be sufficient. You can pick your own bunk bed. I didn't appreciate that the card that indicates that the bed is taken contains the last name of a person. The floor in the room is made of bumpy metal and I had a small heart attack at 5 am when someone dragged their luggage across it. It felt like an earthquake. The bed sheets were clean but under the mattress and all the corners of the room were dusty and dirty. There is no soap anywhere. Not even in the toilet next to reception. But there was toilet paper. The bathroom was clean but only on the surface level. I also had issues with the storage as someone forgot their locked lock and I couldn't use my lock to safely store my belongings. Which is something they couldn't do anything about at the reception. I believe that more areas for hanging out were missing as the bar is closed during the night. Overall an okay experience but keep all these things in mind to not get too disappointed.

Ik heb de stayokay gemaild en zou binnen twee dagen bericht krijgen. Dat is niet gebeurd. We stellen de stayokay aansprakelijk. Dit kan niet !!!! Het is schandalig. Ik wil mijn hotel kosten terug. Ook onze medicatie en artsen kosten (incl.dermatoloog) op de stayokay verhalen. Ik reken op jullie, booking.com, in deze afschuwelijke casus.

After getting into the room we noticed the bedbugs. The staff immediately changed our room to another one, on a different floor, but still we didn't feel comfortable staying there. Also, the hairdryer worked very bad, it was easier and faster to dry hair naturally

no soap at toilets, get ready to fight against bed bugs and had a bad experience of staying near someone snoring, watching and eating chips all the time.

Necesitan mejorar la limpieza estoy prácticamente apunto de ir a urgencias debido a que la cama estaba infectada de chinches y suciedad y he terminado con el cuerpo lleno de picaduras y comezón insoportable

Alles was netjes en schoon. De industriële look van de kamers past goed bij het verleden van dit gebouw. De bedden waren comfortabel en werden elke ochtend weer netjes opgemaakt. Ik las nog het een en ander over bedwantsen, maar die heb ik er niet gezien. Lijkt me ook sterk, want alles was netjes en hygiënisch

-There were no tables, or even a small stand in the room. Just a small shelf together with the mirror and 2 repurposed nightstands (they probably used to be a wooden cable reel or something, but didnt provide us with too much security that our stuff wouldnt fall) -The hostel was 50-100 meters away from a train station and every few minutes (or half hour) it would pass and make noise. If Im not mistaken, it didnt pass through the night, so no problem with this. -The lightbulb of the room was too dim, and right across the room, there was a building with business offices, so we could not have the curtains open to enjoy the (minimal due to the cloudy weather) ambient light of Eindhoven and also have privacy.
