Tehran Heritage Hostel

Overall this hostel is good option for people who just arrived in Iran. Here's why: 1. The location is good. - near Metro 🚇 2. Staffs are helpful. - Staffs can speak well English. - They are informative, will guide you many for example like where to get sim card and help buying the bus tickets. 3. They're many people staying in this hostel, so you will feel secure all time. But still there are many issues here: 1. Bed is not clean. - I feel itchy all time when i sleep, and worst I saw bedbug on the bed. 2. Noisy - I stayed in room where is near the kitchen, is so noisy, because people keep talking anytime. 3. Smelly - This is very personal, which i hate the smell of the smoke, and even I stay in the room, the smell will keep coming into the room which I suffering a lot! 4. Thief? - I stayed here few days, and I heard that someone wallet got stolen? This one have no proof, but someone complain about it.

Overall a great hostel with cool, supportive staff. What I didn't like so much was the communication. I sent them a request weeks before my arrival there and didn't receive any feedback. Also when I left, again I sent them an E-Mail and telling them about my scratchy legs, which were bitten entirely from bed bugs, see picture below. It was my last stay in Iran and it began already after the first day at the hostel and got worse with the days, but also there was no reaction to this, therefore I have to say, nice hostel, great staff, but communication not good at all.
