Apapacho

Stayed here beginning of May and unfortunately my bed had 2 bed bugs in. Staff were very apologetic and got the cleaners in and moved us to a different room and refunded us but I was just worried the whole time after that as not a nice experience. Both rooms we were in didn’t have air con or a fan at all, and it was very hot, only got told on our second last night that you can rent the fans at reception. Bathrooms are clean and bar area is nice. There’s plenty of space for remote workers. Unfortunately I can’t write a review on Hostelworld too as my booking got cancelled on there.

Rooms are tiny with no windows or airflow and beds are uncomfortable but thats to be expected at a hostel. We had to leave early because of bed bugs and heat. They did refunded us for the two nights we didn't stay. Rooftop vibes are immaculate but overall wouldn't recommend unless you're balling on a budget.

Lovely building but I got a nasty case of bed bugs from a private room (which I'd treated myself for my last two nights in Mexico). I had been totally fine before I arrived and then after first night was covered all over my back. No offer to change rooms or refund which was a shame given you pay more for a private room and don't expect to get eaten alive. A real shame given it seems like a nice place overall.
