read in the Google reviewe there is bed bugs, I know how to check for them, I didn't see any... and I didn't take any with me when I left, but I did get some itchy bumps on my skin while there? could be something they use to clean the sheets? Seems like a bad trend though, the kitchen is just a stove you have to light with a lighter, it's tiny, Rat birds (pigeons) come inside and sh*t all over the place,floor, the countertop, the table. I think the owner likes them? ok for price in rome though

I stayed here recently and had one of the worst experiences of my travels. After checking out, I discovered bed bug bites all over my body, clearly from this hostel. It’s unacceptable that a place hosting international travelers has such poor hygiene and pest control. I’ve had to deep-clean and disinfect all my belongings since returning home. Beyond the infestation, the location felt extremely unsafe, especially as a woman. The overall cleanliness was disappointing — the sheets didn’t feel fresh, and the shared areas looked neglected. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hostel until serious improvements are made to both hygiene and guest safety.

two words: bed bugs. staff also told me to leave when i was checked out and waiting for my train.

It was ok. After our stay, we had bite marks all over our body from bed bugs. The kitchen and bathrooms had some things that did not work quite right, but you manage. There is also an balcony at the hostel, where you can sit outside and look over the street, which was really nice. It is close enough to the subway and to a really nice bar/cafè! The woman who works there was also really nice.
