Hostel Free Bird

The rooms very nice and spacious and each person got a very big locker (big enough to put in a traveller's backpack and 2 full shopping bags). The staff was really friendly and helpful and they responded to any questions. You were even allowed to leave your bags/luggage behind their counter while waiting for check-in. The bathroom/showers were very spacious and quite nice, however the air extraction from the showers was none existent, which is why there was mold on the ceiling in the showers. The location is close to a bus stop, where you can take a bus to old town Dubrovnik. Also right cross from the hostel is a nice food place, with decent prices and good quality (nice for when you just arrive and are hungry). It's quite a high walk up to the hostel from the ferry or bus stop though, there is a lot of stairs. You do have a very nice view though from your room, over the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. Noteworthy also is that there was a case of bedbugs during my stay of 7-8 sept 25. Overall a good stay but the bed bugs and mold are something they have do work on and do something about.

Place has bed bugs as of October 30. Check the beds everytime you go to a hostel.

There were bedbugs and when told the staff did nothing

Rooms were pretty big, felt like anybody could walk in at any time though. No bed bugs

Got bed bugs here but the owner agreed to refund my stay. Staff was lovely and bathroom was clean. Kitchen a little small.

Stayed for quite a while. It’s a comfortable space in the bedrooms however the common area and bathroom are pretty small. Really disappointed because I got bed bugs from here which is a pain, make sure you check the beds.
