BEDBUGS - DO NOT STAY HERE We had bedbugs in our dorm and the staff did not seem to care at all, particularly one male staff member who was very rude to me after I said I would be checking out immediately. His words were and I quote “we have bed bugs in our homes it’s fine” and “why are you making it such a big deal” so they are clearly not going to do anything to actually eradicate the infestation and will still allow guests to stay there. AVOID

El Drop Inn está justo al lado de una escuela, y ese vínculo da forma a toda la estancia. El lugar tiene un fuerte enfoque de voluntarios, con la opción de ayudar a enseñar inglés y pasar tiempo con los niños y el personal. El hostal en sí es nuevo y limpio, con aire acondicionado, duchas calientes y ropa de cama fresca. Algunas camas de dormitorio tienen cortinas, luces individuales y enchufes. También hay un restaurante en el lugar, y la comida jemer es parte del atractivo. Está fuera del centro de Siem Reap, así que para llegar a la ciudad se necesita un paseo en tuk-tuk. Esa distancia parece adaptarse a la atmósfera social más tranquila de aquí. El hostal puede sentirse cálido y unido, con Kim y su familia dirigiendo el lugar y mucha interacción alrededor de la escuela.
