Alpas Hostel Siargao

Rooms are clean and nice. WiFi barely didn’t work tho. Staff plain unfriendly. Not a social hostel whatsoever. If you’re looking for a quit time, it’s fine.

Have no clue why this has such good reviews. There was 0 atmosphere, the staff were rude and obnoxious. I arrived late at night, I couldn’t pay via card (like it said online). When I arrived, I had to sign a waiver form that essentially means you accept the fact that that electricity, water, AC etc doesn’t work (even though they are included). I hated it so much I lost £60 and moved to another hostel. Do not stay here, especially as a solo traveler.

All in all, great hostel and very friendly staff. bed’s are great aswell and warm showers were available. Not the most social hostel tho

Nice comfy beds and aesthetic but not much of an atmosphere, I found it hard to socialise. Could be more of a welcoming common area and more going on. Good location though

Staff were lovely and quick to fix issues, sometimes walked in your room without knocking. Also unable to lock door which wasn’t ideal when you’re the only one in the room. Shower pressure was poor throughout.

Loved my stay here! Alpas was a safe quiet haven away from the party goers in Siargao. The communal spaces were a lovely place to unwind after being in the sea. The location is great, close enough walk to everything but not in the middle of all the noise. What makes this place is the staff that really deeply care for their guests. Marife was so kind, took care of the guests when they were feeling unwell, organised transport, gave us suggestions, cooked rice, Alpas are very lucky to have her!

Absolutely loved this hostel, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This isnt a social hostel but it is very easy to make friends in your room. Will come again

Close to everything, but still kind of hidden, so it was nice and quiet at night. The private rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were super helpful and helped us book island-hopping tours and transportation. Would book it again

Ich hatte eine ganze Ameisenspur an der Wand entlang in meinem Bett, obwohl ich kein Essen im Bett hatte. Die Vorhänge sind so durchsichtig wie auf den Bildern. Ansonsten sauber und praktisch.

Prime location beautiful hostel and great rooms!

Very nice and a clean place to chill. This is not a party hostel. Walking distance to most things (ATMs, shopping, bars, restaurants, markets, and some amazing cafes). Would stay here again. Cheers

Alpas' dorm rooms are comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Each bed offers great privacy with curtains, personal lights, and power outlets. The vibe is friendly and relaxed—perfect for solo travelers or digital nomads. Highly recommended!

Really nice, clean and well designed hostel. Location is perfect on the best part of Turismo Rd. Rooms are clean, AC is strong and staff are friendly. Socially can be a bit better if the common areas are a bit more comfortable
