Mumma's Hostel Cairns

Mitch was so cool! He helped me alot! But the other people needed more communication with each other. They thought I overstayed when I told them I extended the first day. As well as only having 1 bathroom upstairs for a whole hostel. The showers are downstairs in front of the kitchen. So people literally are cooking while I walk out in a towel… also, the AC stopped working my last night and woke up sweating. (Might have also gotten bed bug bites…)

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The ceilings of our room were covered in mold and when we let the hostel know that this is affecting my health (because of a chronic illness), they did not even care. Apart from that I was bitten by bed bugs and there are wet towels on the floor everywhere because the rain can get inside the hostel. Such conditions are unacceptable, even for a hostel! Do yourself a favor and never stay at this hostel!
