BED BUGS, MOULD AND NO REFUND. we found bed bugs at midnight on our second night there so we looked under the mattress and found more evidence if there being bed bugs so we called the WhatsApp number. They said that they would move us rooms for the night. which was our only option so we accepted. next morning when we went to reception for a further resolution. They refused to refund us or offer any compensation other than the fact that we can stay in a different room we saw them not clean the room that had bed bugs. They didn’t use any sort of treatment on it so there are still bedbugs in that room. There are other reviews on Booking.com of people having bedbug experiences. The room is a prison cell. It is completely dirty. There are ants everywhere there is mould everywhere the walls are peeling. A massive health and safety violation. The room is a literal prison cell. Don’t stay here!!!!!! They refused to let us speak to a manger. Edit : they agreed to move us to a different branch and we accepted. Only bc everywhere else was full They did ask us to remove the review bc of this. Which I won’t. The staff at the other branch were very rude also and told us it was all our fault as we should’ve found the bed bugs sooner. Since they’ve now responding apologising it is ironic as they refused to let us speak to a manager and no one apologied once when we’re there. Sadly ruined our trip to George Town. Don’t trust this company .
