Iskay Boutique Hostel

Nice hostel/staff but not suitable for night owls or those who need wifi. They lock the top floor at 10 and hostel door at midnight, so theres no common area and you cant go out. There are several wifi networks, but they either all work or all don't work at a given time. The system is spotty and not reliable. I would not have booked if I knew either of these things! I was also slightly overcharged, booked a 4-person but got a 6, bathroom had soap 1/3 days, & room didnt have many outlets/hangers

4er Frauenzimmer gebucht, 6er bekommen. Hostel hat die Exchangerate iwie gefreestyled und ich habe dem offiziellen Wechselkurs zufolge fast 40% mehr bezahlt. Auf Nachfrage wurde recht unfreundlich gesagt "Wir machen das halt so und das mit dem Zimmer ist jetzt so" Die Tür konnte man nicht abschließen, es gab weder Seife noch Klopapier. Nachts oder früh morgens wird man nur mit erheblicher Verzögerung reingelassen, weil sie die Tür raus verschließen, man klingeln und hoffen muss, das jemand...

Hostile conversion rate and they don’t even leave soap in the bathroom

While the hostel was pretty clean and the beds were comfortable it’s not very clear that the only communal space (the terrace) is a restaurant open to the public. This shuts at 3pm on Sundays and you’re not allowed to use the space after that which was pretty frustrating when we stayed there during the election and most other things in the city were shut and we were told we could use the space anyway but were told to leave.

Chambre très confortable, le lavabo est à l'extérieur de la salle de bain, un peu bizarre mais ça se fait. Je regrette juste l'absence de salle commune pour se poser car le seul endroit est le dernier etage où on mznge mais qui est ferme en dehors des horaires d'ouverture du restzurant (samedi après-midi et dimanche. Le rooftopnest pas non plus accessible à ces horaires... dommage

The staff is kind. Good location, next to the witch market. The beds are comfortable and it was clean. Brrakfast was nice. There is no kitchen there. Not good exchange rate if you pay in bolivianos/local currency, which is strange. As the other comments says earlier, they have their own rate if you pay in bolivianos.

I had a very comfortable bed, room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for a lot of tourist areas. There are no common areas or kitchen, so not a social hostel if that's what you want - more like a hotel with dorms. Would stay again. If you have an early tour, note that breakfast is not always ready at the advertised time so you might want a back up.

Great location! The rooms are nice and the view from the restaurant was amazing. I recommend staying here :)

Quiet expensive option but with Good services and right in the touristic Center of La Paz

I only stayed here for one night, but it was the perfect place to stay. The location is great, very convenient to the most sightseeing spots of the city. The staff are so helpful and so nice and happy to organise trips for you. The rooms are neat and very clean and well equipped. I can only recommend this hostel and would come back any time again.

Amazing hostel (although did feel more like a hotel) The staff were amazing and the dorms were perfect! Very clean and so comfortable (double pillow!) Breakfast on the rooftop was incredible! Quite a quiet place so didn’t really meet anyone but great if you want to relax and have some space to yourself. The hostel is perfectly positioned by the Witches market and next to some fantastic restaurants so definitely recommend! Tour operators just next door too! I’d come back again!

Love this property - excellent large bed, clean rooms with private bathrooms. dorms are super nice. centrally located with access to witches market and everything else you need. staff is super nice and helpful. the rooftop is probably one of the best in la paz, would recommend

Clean, chilled hostel

Such a great hostel! Very clean, nice decor, friendly staff, and breakfast on the rooftop was great. The view is fantastic!

I booked for 3 nights, but due to social unrests in Bolivia, I had to leave La Paz quickly, and the hostel made me pay only for one night. I really appreciated this. Otherwise, I found the hostel very clean and modern, and they offer plenty of tours, among which the Cholitas show in El Alto. Would definitely come back.

Very nice and clean hotel. Bed and showers are the best I had in Bolivia. It's like a hotel, is 0 social, no common areas and a very serious vibes.

Cuarto limpio y cama muy cómoda, personal muy amable y desayuno muy rico también. 100% recomendado!!!
