I woke up to a bedbug on my pillow. I am now itchy and covered in bites. I feel appalled, disgusted, and violated. The hostel refunded me 56% of the cost of my stay ($17 out of a total $30 spent) and did not refund me the $6 city tax. Overall, the place was unclean and grimy. The bathroom shower had a disgusting pink film on the floor. There was only one bathroom for 15 people. It was in an inconvenient location. Do not stay here. Spend a bit more money for a safe and clean hostel.

Unfortunately, I did not have pleasant experience here and left before our first night of staying for multiple reasons. Firstly, there is no security in the rooms, a lock on the door is a tiny luggage lock (the one with a tiny key) which did not feel safe and secure. Cleanliness was nonexistent with a shared bathroom between 4 rooms and we found bed bugs and stains on the mattress. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and found the rule where you must leave the premises between 11am-2pm everyday an unpleasant. As much as I wanted to like it for a cheap option, I would not recommend this place at all.

Cimici da letto, scarsa igiene

There were bedbugs. It was disgusting. Poor hygiene.

ESPERIENZA TERRIBILE, NON ANDATE Io e una mia amica abbiamo prenotato su Booking una stanza in questo ostello senza leggere le recensioni su Google prima (cosa che consiglio vivamente di fare ogni volta che si prenota). Siamo state accolte dal proprietario, Stefano, e sembrava andare tutto per il meglio fino a quando la mattina dopo non abbiamo trovato sul materasso in cui dormivamo delle CIMICI da letto. Il posto è di SCARSA IGIENE, non c’era un copri materasso ma solamente un lenzuolo in cui oltre alle cicimici c’erano dei capelli/peli, il materasso e il piumino erano entrambi mangiati dalle cimici. Io e la mia amica abbiamo fatto presente al proprietario ciò che stava succedendo nel pomeriggio (perché la mattina volevamo confrontarci altrove sul da farsi) lui non ha voluto nè controllare le camere, sostenendo (e così autoimputandosi) di aver cercato le cimici nei materassi prima del nostro arrivo, nè ha voluto vedere il video che avevamo fatto. Io e la mia amica spaventate abbiamo provato a sostenere una conversazione tranquilla e civile, chiedendogli un rimborso non totale, ma per le notti in cui non avremmo dormito, ma lui ha accusato noi di aver portato le cimici (cosa che è impossibile) e CI HA CACCIATE DI CASA. Siamo così rimaste da sole in mezzo alla strada. La situazione faceva paura. Questo posto è da chiudere, abbiamo già mandato le dovute segnalazioni a Booking. NON ANDATE

The absolute worst place that I’ve ever encountered! There are bed bugs everywhere and the host is extremely rude. He kicked me out after he screamed and yelled and threw a huge fit! I’ve never had such a bad experience before. He also makes everyone leave at 10:30 AM For cleaning and woke me up out my sleep! He started cursing at me and said if I don’t wake up and leave in 5 mins he will hurt me. I ran out or bed half asleep just so he can have his cleaning crew start cleaning. How ridiculous and pathetic. There’s no heater so you will freeze all night. And there’s only one bathroom for 50 people.

I had a terrible experience - after my check in I went straight to the laundromat to wash all of my clothes. Before even dropping my belongings into my room, I did a bed check and found a bed bug. I messaged the host to organise a room change or to just have a conversation with him about the situation. When I returned to the hostel, (again my belongings had not been unpacked) he accused me of bringing the bed bugs, when I found it under the sheet. He then proceeded to kick me out, which I’m grateful for because the property is not up to standard hygiene wise, space wise (one shared bathroom with toilet and shower combined for all of the guests). Not only did he blame me for bringing bed bugs, he handled the situation so unprofessionally. Just avoid this place ladies, it’s not worth it.

Me picaron chinches en todo el cuerpo, el espacio se veía limpio pero al perecer sus camas están infestadas o de pulgas o de chinches, a la hora de hacer check out el dueño fue muy grosero. Y creemos que el espejo de baño es falso y puede vernos desde atrás que está su Habitacion.
