Tres Islas Hostel

Do not stay here – bed bugs! On June 7th, I woke up in the morning and found a bed bug in my bed. One of the men at the reception didn’t speak English very well and didn’t understand my problem. The manager seemed to still be asleep. I left the hostel immediately, but was told that I would not get a refund for the remaining nights I had already booked. I strongly advise against staying here.

Got bedbugs from my stay here and even emailed the hostel about it, but without replies. I know that they knew about this. Another guest told me that she stayed there a few days before and her friends got it in the same dorm. They did not adress the problem seriously enough. It’s been horrible to deal with the bites and washing everything. So please everyone watch out for this.

Me and my partner left the hostel earlier today and now realised we have bedbug bites and bedbugs in the clothes we slept in. This was in room 02 and the second lower bunk to the left. We also spoke with two others who had issues with bed bugs in the same room earlier, so it certainly feels like they have a problem right now.

WARNING: BED BUGS!!!!!!! I’ve contacted the hostel about this issue but they haven’t replied. I heard that others had the same problems in the same dorm (2) a few days before and the issue was obviously not taken care of. Be careful!
