My friend got bed bugs and the staff didn’t acknowledge it when we told them. Also the Saturday bar crawl is equivalent to paying $25 for a tshirt, entrance into bars that are already free to enter, and watered down orange liquor the staff carrying around (no drinks from actual bar). Great location and great vibes though.

Be aware of bedbugs!!! We found multiple bedbugs in our bed. Also lot of cockroaches and other animals. Very dirty everywhere. We didn’t sleep all night because of the bedbugs and had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. The staff did refund us and paid for the laundry to wash all our clothes at 60 degrees, so that was nice of them. Overall, we did not have a good experience here, we left after the first night and wished we hadn’t stayed here at all.

Bed bugs. This was a last minute desperate booking for me. I wasn’t looking for a party hostel (which was fine as I just needed somewhere to stay). The room has bed bugs and reading lots of reviews that say the same. They need to sort this before it becomes a real issue

Beware of the bed bugs 😢 Otherwise it's a cool hostel.

Wir hatten Angst vor Bettwanzen! Hier kam zum ersten mal der Hygieneschlafsack zum Einsatz. Das Zimmer roch, als hätte man uns einen toten Biber ins Zimmer gelegt. Insgesamt war das Hostel im Vergleich zu anderen Partyhostels sehr abgeranzt. Das Frühstück bestand aus Pancakes und war inbegriffen, jedoch musste man jegliches Topping extra zahlen. Der Preis ist ohnehin schon sehr hoch für das was man bekommt. Positiv: es wurden Pubcrawls angeboten! Das Personal war grundsätzlich ganz nett.

Fun & friendly hostel. On the first night, I woke up with full body hives. I suspect due to a detergent/bug spray allergy, NOT from bug bites as i thoroughly checked the room and found no bugs of any sort. Therefore, I unfortunately had to leave early but the staff kindly refunded the unused night, despite being against policy. I happened to return later that day and saw they had stripped the entire room/ all mattresses, to investigate. It was reassuring to see how seriously they took the matter

Strange experience at Mr Mullet’s. Self proclaimed “party hostel” but the bar shuts at 10:30pm, the lights are turned off and you’re ushered out of the communal area. Was expecting basic accommodation but our private room was borderline uninhabitable. The room was so damp (visible mould on the walls) that the bedsheets were wet to touch. The smell was overwhelming. We also left covered from head-to-toe in bites from bedbugs. Slight saving grace is the good crowd. The hostel attracts a lot of fellow backpa

0/10 would not recommend, maybe the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was rude and cliquey, rooms were dirty, and bed bugs were rumored. The redeeming quality was the pub crawl. However, of the party hostels I’ve stayed at in the past, this was at the bottom of the list, no competition. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere, and just come here to party.

The amazing reviews are due to people being given free shots for doing so. Please do not stay at this hostel - even if you want to come to enjoy the social aspect you absolutely can do that without subjecting yourself to staying here. The cleanliness is genuinely horrific, bins are never emptied which made rooms smell and attract flies, floors are genuinely filthy, bedding is stained/worn and unhygienic. Please don’t overlook bed bugs and poor hygiene for the sake of a free shot.
