Backpackers Hostel K's House Kyoto

Staff were nice, bathrooms and rooms very clean. I got bed bugs though however the staff were really nice about it and moved us rooms.

I should give K's House 5 stars, but they had bed bugs when I stayed there and I was eaten alive. Now assuming that it was an isolated incident, as far as hostels go, it's really great if you don't mind college dorm room living. It's clean (minus the bed bugs) and extremely foreigner friendly. It's important to remember that Kyoto isn't about accommodations so much as tourist attractions. Because tourists only every visit Kyoto to see historical sites, K's house offers a well located and economical option.
