We were aggressively harassed by teenagers everytime we wanted to get into the hostel. They would stand in front of the entry and deny us going in and we felt really threatened by that situation. They also followed us inside.

Reseña completaDon't go there. The Hostel is okay and the owner was really nice. But the area is very sketchy in a dark alley away from the main streets. We were aggressively harassed by teenagers everytime we wanted to get into the hostel. They would stand in front of the entry and deny us going in and we felt really threatened by that situation. They also followed us inside. Feeling bad for the owners but I'd recommend everyone to look for a safer place and maybe pay a bit more for it.

Reseña completaVery nice rooftop, silent sleeping. Good shower, very good breakfast (best I had) The neighbourhood is VERY sketchy though. At night Got hit in the neck by a local for no reason, I saw girls running scared, two dorm people got threatened to pay up to avoid a “face beating” There is a gang hanging around at the entrance in a very dark alley. I got into strong flight/fight mode and couldn’t sleep at all. If you’re a woman, AVOID at all cost.

Upon arrival he told me he wanted to see if I had a connection with his "berber culture" and started to massage my head and neck which was very disturbing to me.

Reseña completaI felt extremely uncomfortable in this place due to the guy that works here. Upon arrival he told me he wanted to see if I had a connection with his "berber culture" and started to massage my head and neck which was very disturbing to me. He then kept saying we will smoke weed and hang out together later despite me saying I don't smoke and I'm not interested. He also told me he could show me a tea that “makes people horny”. When I asked how I will be able to get back into the hostel later he said "if the key is on the table when you leave you can take it, if the key is not there someone will let you in" which I found dodgy and unprofessional. After just 20 minutes in this place my gut instinct very clearly told me "YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE, LEAVE!" So I booked another hostel and left as soon as I could. And I am SO glad I did, especially after reading other reviews (after the fact) about women that felt uncomfortable and presence of bed bugs. The location (despite being in what seems to be the center of the Medina) is down a deserted alleyway that I would not have felt comfortable walking down as a solo woman traveler at night. Exercise caution if you are a woman planning to stay here.

Reseña completaWARNING: 400 euros and my AirPods were stolen from me even though I had put my things in the locked lockers. I do not recommend this hostel!!!! AVERTISSEMENT : on m’a volé 400 euros et mes AirPods alors que j’avais mis mes affaires dans les casiers sous clefs. Je vous déconseille cette hostel !!!!
