H2O Yoga and Meditation Center

We hadden het hutje rechts als je binnenkomt. Na controle van de kamer had ik bedbugs ontdekt op de matras. Wanneer ik dit aan de oudere man bij de receptie vertelde, zei hij ons dat wij ze hadden meegenomen. Onze bagage stond gewoon aan de deur van het huisje. We hadden nog niets uitgepakt of aangeraakt. De bedbugs zaten gewoon op de matras. Hij deelde ons mee dat we in het hutje links konden overnachten. Ik controleerde hier de matras en deze was nog erger met zwarte vlekken en dode bedbugs. Wij zijn vertrokken maar hebben geen geld terug gekregen.

I really liked the hostel and the location on Gili Air, but what I didn’t like that I most likely had bed bugs from it and they were telling me that I had an allergic reaction (I had to sleep one more night in this bed and got new bites again after waking up). However the bites definitely looked like bed bugs and after moving in another accommodation on the same island I didn’t have it at all… getting bed bugs can happen, but what I didn’t like how they treated me (telling me I have an allergic reaction, even one of the staff working there laughing at me, because I thought I saw some eggs which was wood apparently). Good thing was they refunded me my whole stay! Replying to their answer: I’m not highly allergic, the bites were just clearly visible. Two girls in my room had bed bugs before and both told me it looks like that, since the the bites were in a row and I always saw them right after waking up. On the same island in another accommodation I didn’t have any issues. As said bed bugs can happen I just didn’t like how the employees laughed at me.
