Iris Hostel

This place indeed has bed bugs. I thought they had taken care of the problem and I booked anyway BIG mistake. For the Love of everything check the Google reviews. This place has a BED BUG PROBLEM.

I stayed at Iris Hostel for only one night out of three due to a serious bed bug issue in the dorm room. I was bitten badly and couldn’t sleep. Since it happened after midnight and no staff was around, I had to move to the lobby sofa — unfortunately, it was hot, there were mosquitoes, and even more bed bugs there. I was exhausted, ended up buying insect repellent at 4 AM, and had no choice but to return to the same bed. It was a really uncomfortable experience. I’m not trying to attack the hostel, but I hope others don’t have to go through the same. On a positive note, the receptionist in the morning was very kind, apologized sincerely, and helped me process a refund through Agoda. The service part was decent overall.

For the location, the price is fantastic. The place is overall clean as well. My only issue was that I found bed bugs in the dorm I was staying in, but the manager thankfully had me moved to another room to hopefully now sort it out. The rooms themselves were also a bit gloomy and hard to see in even in the middle of the day (which is annoying when looking through your things).

They had bed bugs and did nothing about it

There are bedbugs in both the dorm rooms, a lady had 10k baht and her phone stolen.. After I told the receptionist and owner about the bed bugs they didn’t do anything and are still putting people in the dorm room. Terrible hostel definitely would not stay here

All three dorms on the second floor had bed bugs, when we told reception they really did not seem to care. Bathrooms were nice, but smelled disgusting. Two girls in my room had cash and electronics stolen, and there were two staff seen going through people's personal belongings. Would not recommend staying here.
