The Original Backpackers Hostel

I had bedbugs, but the situation was not handled well either.

I would NOT recommend this hostel overall taking everything into consideration :(. Cons- the hostel does not feel clean- cockroaches everywhere, people complaing of bed bugs, hair and dust on floors of fhe rooms, toilets not clean etc. - No air con which made the rooms unbearable to sleep in sometimes. - damp smell in some areas. - mattress was so uncomfortable in the room. pros of the hostel: free dinners on 3 nights, social atmosphere was okoy and did make friends, staff were friendly

Room was disgusting There was a bed bug infestation and I got a skin infection Nice atmosphere Kitchen too small Pretty building Nice staff Good location

Unfortunately, I was bitten by bed bugs. The room was extremely messy, but that is not the hostel's fault; guests should be tidier. One thing that bothered me was the absence of enough mugs/glasses for guests; I had to purchase one to have something to drink from.
