En stor skuffelse

Couple of receptionist didn’t know how to talk or communicate. Overall surrounding is beautiful. Rooms were pretty okay. I would recommend for place but not for customer service. In my opinion the staff (not all) was very junior in the way they dealt with me. Perhaps this place is more for people who are on low budget.

Haven't been there because it was impossible due to Storm Johannes. I communicated everything in an adequate way, but they still let me pay. They even didn't reply on my last email anymore. Big failure!

Furu Hostel looks nice on their website, but reality is something else. Walls are thin so you can hear clearly all noises from corridors, toilets and other rooms when you're trying to sleep. Private double room has an uncomfortable, poor quality mattress. The hostel is in an old building and ventilation is poor - leading to bad air quality and hot room even if outside temperatures have been low and window open. All this made sleeping very difficult. A lot of room to improve: it hasn’t done any maintenance work for a long tome? The bathroom room floor is broken, very old style coverage, not tiles. No soap. The shower temperature tap is broken, not repaired. The cups in the coffee area isn’t crystal clean, saw a bit of impurity in few cups. It’s a great idea to separate the hiking shoes, but didn’t provide alternatives, or makes efforts to keep you feel the floors are clean to walk without shoes :(

Waren heute nach einem langen Tag dort. Um ca.20.30 dort gewesen. Rezeption war zu ( obwohl Check In bis 22 Uhr ist).Auch eine Mail die die Daten zum Einchecken beinhaltet, haben wir nicht bekommen. Telefonisch auch niemand mehr zu erreichen. Nur durch andere Gäste sind wir dann endlich an die Daten gekommen. Dann wollten wir und was zu Essen machen. I really liked the place, it is super cosy, nice interior, some facilities you don't expect in a hostel this price. But I did not feel welcome because of the staff. On the first day, I went to the sauna. When I almost left, the whole staff entered. When I went out and I was changing, some people of the staff were gossipping about me. I have traveled a lot and this never happened that a staff was so disrespectful towards guest. I don't think you should work in a hostel if this is your attitude to...

Good clean hostel, nice manager and staff. Downside is the manager charges money for everything, like using the sauna and even firewood. Made the experience feel a little transactional and not very warm. Also no kitchen which may force people to eat at their restaurant as the location is somewhat isolated.

Les dortoirs sont ridiculement petits, en hauteur il fait une chaleur intenable. Peu de douches et toilettes compte tenu du nombre de personnes présentes. Insonorisation médiocre, on entend tout. Et un nombre de règles et interdictions incompatibles avec le concept global. Cuisine inaccessible tôt le matin (avant 8h tout est sous clé). Bref, si vous pouvez vous offrir un vrai logement, c’est mieux.

Friendly staff and volunteers work here. **A lot of false/bot 5 star reviews if you read other comments below. NOTE: The kitchen is only open from 8am-10pm. Amazing place

Ostello in mezzo alla natura. Camere molto belle e servizi in comune puliti. Possibilità di fare la sauna a 225 nok a persona e, alla sera, ci hanno anche offerto un bel falò con tanto di marshmallow. Unica nota un po' dolente la cucina che apre solo alle 8 e non prima, abbiamo dovuto ritardare la nostra partenza.
