Villa Hostel

I have to try and be as objective as possible. Ordinarily I would rate this place 5/5, perhaps even 11/10. The area is very good indeed and the property is situated only a few minutes from the metro and supermarkets. The staff were amazing..truly amazing. The WiFi was excellent, breakfast was included and laundry was available for 30R. Netflix alongside plenty of seating areas including a terrace are also an added bonus and some drinks and snacks can be purchased here too. However....the moment I got into my bed on the second night I pulled over the blanket, and was frantically bitten by a bed bug which I caught and squished. I wanted to leave, however, not having the energy I requested another bed the next night and I didn't have issues, though I removed all the pullover bedding which is used by multiple people without being washed.... Another guest checked into the very bed I left and was scratching all night. Usually I have a default 1/5 for bedbugs, but I'm going to give 2.5/5 which will auto rate to 3/5. Bed bugs are completely unacceptable and nothing was done about it, though everything else in the hostel was fantastic.
