Aline Hostel

Bien. Mais on a eu des morsures de punaises de lits. On a compris que après avoir quitté l'auberge que c'était ça. Beaucoup de bruit dans la rue aussi. Un chien qui aboie non-stop la nuit. Personnel sympa. Service de lavage du linge sur place 50dh/ sac + 30dh pour le sèche-linge. Sinon étendre sur la grande terrasse.

BED BUG HOSTEL. We got bitten by bed bugs day and night, sooo many bites all over our bodies. Such An uncomfortable place to stay... The place is dirty the showers don't work, the "breakfast" is of a very poor standard. Staff have zero mannors and implied we brought the bed bugs with us to the hostel 😂 I would never recommend this hostel to anyone

WARNING !!! HOSTEL IS HEAVILY INFESTED WITH BED BUGS AND OWNERS HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE PROBLEM A LONG TIME AND NOT ACTED.... It didn’t take me long to notice that the bed I was sleeping in felt slightly itchy. I tossed and turned and listened to others in the room itching. I thought there must have been a couple of mozzies in the room. 5 hours later.. I still hadn’t slept, trying in the common room and the terrace. Everything was itchy!! I woke with at least 20 marks all over my body. Some have turned into boils and others are the size of an egg. Looking at the edges of the beds in the morning, you can see there are eggs in the mattresses. There are many reviews saying that this hostel is heavily infested with bedbugs, some dating back to the summer of 2018 (a year later!!) This clearly demonstrates that there is no appetite to fix this problem. The hostel weren’t particularly apoplectic and tried to play it off as something normal stating that ‘People come and go and bring them all of the time. Nothing we can do’. I pointed out that no other hostel we have stayed in so far has had this problem. It’s a shame as the hostel its self had a lovely terrace and is located in a nice area. Please, do not stay here. They need a reason to sort out this problem.

Bed bugs in room 7, my arms, legs, feet and stomach is covered in them. I told them and they denied it then moved me to another bed. And got bitten again. Pillows and mattress are quite uncomfortable.

This would be a totally acceptable hostel except for the fact that it is HEAVILY infested with bed bugs. When I spoke to the staff about the problem they seemed pretty nonchalant about it so I’m guessing it’s not something that will be fixed anytime soon. Inspecting and disinfecting all my belongings is such a relaxing fun way to end a vacation! When I was checking reviews I noticed the ones that mention this place is swarming with bed bugs are all bumped down thread, making it unlikely that they will be noticed. Hopefully this will rise to the top so other people are forewarned.
