· Horrible . La primera noche Al despertarnos nos encontramos que nos picaba el cuerpo entero ... mirando las sábanas nos encontramos con toda la cama llena de CHINCHES . Increíble , sí.. pero cierto . Todo el cuerpo lleno de ronchas de las picaduras de las chinches . Nos hicieron el “ favor “ de cambiarnos de habitación . Por supuesto que llenos de roncha y picor por todo el Cuerpo durante toda la estancia . El baño se inunda entero , ya que no está sellada la ducha y se sale todo el agua . NO VOLVERÉ , NI LO RECOMIENDO. Si viniera sanidad otro gallo cantaría .....

Bed bugs

I stayed at different hostels in Copenhagen, this was the best. They were very clean here. I don't like that you have to wait till 3 to check in, Can't even pay to check in early, But they allow you to stay there and store luggage if you arrive early. Staff was very nice here. Always helpful. Everything was nice only problem was i feel it was very loud, and there's WAYYYYYYYY too many people staying there. The kitchen can often be dirty and being used constantly by people. There are a few places you can escape to if it's too loud and you have sensory issues, Like the thearter, the Tv room, or the area where the pool is can sometimes be quieter but mostly it's a very loud hostel. They have music there too which makes is super loud at night, but i didn't have issues sleeping. The one thing i am happy about, is there were no bed bugs, I am sorry to say i checked out of this hostel to get closer to the train station ( didn't realize how close it actually was to the train station, and i went to another hostel which had bed bugs that ate me alive. So i should have stayed here :( nice place for sitting outside and they often leave the doors open so you can just walk outside.

Die Matratzen sind versifft, im Bad gibt es dicken schwarzen Schimmel, die Abflüsse sind verstopft. Die Menschen am Check-in waren sehr "gestresst". Ein Gast erzählte, sie zieht am selben Tag wieder aus wegen der Bettwanzen.

Noticed 2 little bedbugs at the mattress in the last nite.

My bed in my shared dorm had bed bugs in it. I went downstairs to complain and to ask for a new bed, and the man at the reception desk was quite rude to me about the situation. He tried to insinuate that I brought the bed bugs to my room, before asking me if I knew who he was (like that mattered?) and demanding a photo of the bed bug that I saw, which I didn't have. It's a shame because I quite Iiked the hostel and had stayed here before this, but I can't stay here again, and wouldn't recommend it

We were bitten by bed bugs!!! I have never experienced this before despite travelled a lot. Terrible communication with staff. Hostel charged more upon arrival despite we called to clarify the details in advance. Looked like the planned policy rather than unexpected situation. All services are paid (luggage storage, kitchen, swimming pool and gym). Kitchen is small for the number of people and rather dirty.

You can't lock your things in a locker. At least, if you didn't bring a lock. I still don't know whether you can rent a lock at the reception... Oh, and something bit my mom at night in three places. Not a bed bug, though🤔...

Me picaron chinches mientras dormía.

Creo que había chinches en la cama, porque me desperté lleno de picaduras, y no eran mosquitos, porque la ventana estaba cerrada. Me pasó dos noches, así que si pudieran poner más empeño en lavar las sábanas o en desinfectar, sería ideal.

- the tv had a huge scratch on the screen - the shower was loose so we couldn’t put the water pressure too high otherwise the hose would come off. - the shower did not keep the temperature. I showered with the warmest setting and the temperature was constantly changing from cold to warm all the time. And when it was warm it was for 5sec and then 1min on cold - the sink kept clogging - bed linen not properly clean - when we woke up we saw a bug on the bed! Moving even. And we didn’t open windows or anything while we were there, so we slept with a bug on the bed. - when checking out complained about the bug and the response was “it is unpleasant to sleep with a bug in the bed”. ….., nothing else! I tried complaining again and all I got in response was “I can get you a free coffee”. Totally do not recommend

As a experienced solo traveler. I strongly NOT RECOMMEND this hostel. It more likes “ hotel” not “luxury hostel” Cons: bedbugs 💀 + dirty shower room Unfriendly staff : they only follow rules. I was charged for $100 kr for taking back my school bags which lost in the room. The staff was so rude to ORDER me giving money. Everything needs to pay: kitchen(20kr) , swimming pool (20kr) , Cinema … Inflexible check in time : MUST after 3pm Rooms are small. Pros: at least they have kitchen

During first Night i found bed bugs. Then i understand that cleaning standarts in steel house work. Probably there was sleeped before some homeless person. I have stayed even cheaper hostels but never bed bugs. Its disgusting. Reception wasnt able give other bed first Time they give spot where someone already sleeping. Second time found out People has puted their things in that bed. So during Night was needed find another spot. Found copenhagen city hub. Payed there 384 EUR for my 4 Night stay. Im very disapointed as ARP Hansen hotel group brand. How steel house Can be such high ratings if cleaning standarts allow bed bugs ?? I want refund

Long queue for check-in even they have self check-in machines but many can't find the booking in the system and had to go thru counter. Staff will find your booking and give you the detail for self check in again (which is time consuming & doesn't make sense to me). Still have trouble with mine and had to ask them to check me in, staff are lovely tho. Room is clean but suspect it had bedbug in sheet/covering coz my legs were bitten everywhere and itchy as hell.
