A truly horrible and unsafe stay - Bed Bugs and Broken Facilities I'm writing this review with deep disappointment and concern. This was my worst hostel experience, primarily due to severe hygiene and facility issues that pose a risk to guests. First and foremost, I found a bed bug on my bed on the third day of my stay. This is an unacceptable health hazard. A quick check of online reviews shows that other guests have reported this issue before, indicating the problem has not been properly addressed. Upon returning home, I had to spend a significant amount of time and money to sanitize all my belongings to prevent an infestation. The second major issue was the broken air conditioning. Despite the booking clearly stating that A/C was a provided amenity, the units in my room were completely non-functional. The room was extremely hot, over 34°C, and the staff's vague response and a small table fan provided no relief. This is a clear case of false advertising. Beyond these two main points, many other facilities were either broken or poorly maintained. A light and multiple power outlets in my bed area were not working. The shower drainage was terrible, causing water to pool and mix with hair on the floor. The public toilets had very poor ventilation and smelled foul. The 'free dinner' was a marketing gimmick with barely enough food for half the guests. Based on my experience, the high ratings this hostel receives are likely due to its social events, which seem to distract some guests from the fundamental failures in hygiene and basic facilities. I highly recommend potential guests reconsider their choice, as this hostel does not meet basic standards of safety and comfort.

Había marcas de chinches en las sábanas y cortinas. El personal de la primera noche le dio todas las instrucciones a otros huéspedes excepto a mi (por ejemplo, actividades nocturnas, cenas, etc). El resto del staff fue muuuy amable, considerado y abierto a dar consejos. Muchas gracias :)

BED BUGS🤮

I was bitten every night. Last night I killed 3 blood-stained bedbugs. The receptionists were not very friendly. The women's bathroom always smelled bad because the "cleaning" was not done properly. 8h30

Got bed bug bites. A girl I met there told me she saw 2 bed bugs in her bed. The group activities were good but they ran out of food at the family dinner so I was not able to eat the food I had helped prepare. Be aware that the family dinner cooking starts at 21:00. Eating will take place around 22:00 after the hostel guests finish making the food. Very high security.

Main con -- bed bugs. good atmosphere with the dinners and tours, bring your own towel, flipflops, shampoo, toothpaste. bring a padlock too for individual bags. felt safe but not too safe as doors were sometimes left open. good building in a great location, location is quiet but not too far from places. high ceilings, try to avoid the bottom floor room as it gets loud at night. Staff great and kind, kitchen has storage for your stuff if you want. wish cleanliness was better. 2.5/5 for me 👍🏿

Sehr freundliche Personal, es gab Free dinner jeden Abend und viele Aktivitäten! Nach der ersten Nacht hatte ich leider jede Menge Battwanzen Bisse die extrem gejuckt haben und überall waren. Ich habe direkt ein neues Zimmer bekommen und die Rechnung für die Creme hat das Hostel übernommen. Dennoch sind Bettwanzen wohl ein großes Problem dort, sie wirkten so als wäre es häufiger der Fall das jemand gebissen wird!! Ich würde dort nicht nochmal hin, das hat mir die letzten Tagen in Barcelona ruiniert!!

Serious case of bed bugs going on in this hostel. Wouldn’t recommend staying until it has been sorted out. Seems to be a problem for the last couple of months. It’s shame because the atmosphere at the hostel is great, but cleanliness lucks.

🪲PUNAISES DE LIT / BED BUGS! 🪲 Endroit dégueulasse! Je déconseille fortement. Tout est sale et le staff est complètement désorganisé. Les murs sont tachés, les planchers sont sales, les toilettes puent l'urine, il y a forte présence de moisissure sur le plafond des douches. J'ai écourté mon séjour mais au moins j'ai eu un remboursement. 🚫
