Sadly, the private room I stayed in wasn’t clean. I woke up with a dozen bug bites, and the bed had hairs, dirt, toenails and what looked like bugs. It seemed the sheets hadn’t been changed. Staff were wonderful, but cleanliness needs improvement.

BED BUGS I recently stayed at this hostel in a single room, and while the hostel is nice and the staff friendly, I had a deeply troubling experience. During my stay, I discovered the presence of bed bugs in my room. This is a serious health hazard that cannot be overlooked. Despite the staff being aware of the issue, they blatantly lied and attributed the bites to mosquitoes, which is obviously not true. After two nights, I found myself covered in over 70 bites on my legs and arms. The hotel did perform extermination on the second day of my stay, but this does not excuse the unacceptable behavior of lying about the bed bugs and failing to communicate the problem before my visit. This has forced me to consider throwing away all my clothes to avoid bringing the bed bugs back home, which is both distressing and unacceptable.
