Rooms are cramped up, lots of noise being the central location , Felt hot inside the rooms , and we thought were bitten by bedbugs too.

Bed bugs - serious issue. Staff claimed there is no such problem and wanted to refund me. I requested to be moved to another room instead. Second room, second bed bug issue. Finally, i’ve figuered that the only safe place in the hostel are the upper beds where the bugs likely werent able to reach. Also, I saw that the two beds that I’ve tried with the bed bugs, the staff simply changed the sheets and put other people there - no spraying with poison - just changed sheets and welcome next victims.

The photos of the hotel in the app are nothing like the reality. The rooms are dirty, poorly lit, and feel neglected. The atmosphere is uncomfortable from the moment you walk in. On top of that, the staff behaves as if you are asking them for a favor every time you request something basic. When I tried to cancel because everything was dirty, the customer service team from Booking told us they could not give a refund if the room had bedbugs. Yes, you read that correctly — if the room has bedbugs, they still say they cannot refund you. This was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

After the first night, I discovered bites all over my body, reddened skin, and swelling in places along my arm, neck, stomach, and back... it's terrible! I suffered all day because my whole body was itching. I decided to inspect the mattress in the room and was horrified because it was dirty and I found traces and bodies of dead bedbugs on it!!!! And so my entire stay in Brussels was ruined! I contacted reception and explained our problem, and the staff offered to change rooms, which was good. But instead of a double bed in the room, they gave us a room with two separate beds, a lower and an upper bunk... just the room I wanted. And of course, the payment wasn't reimbursed... HORRIBLE! When I asked to see the first aid kit so I could at least help myself, they refused, saying there weren't any.

I am posting this review to warn other travelers. During my stay at a Safestay hostel in Warsaw, Poland, I experienced a bed bug issue. I reported this serious hygiene problem and initially received a brief response. However, after that, all communication stopped completely, and my follow-up messages were ignored. Bed bugs are not a minor inconvenience. A short reply followed by total silence shows a clear lack of responsibility and concern for guest safety. Because of how this situation was handled, I have decided to completely boycott the Poland branch. I understand that one person’s voice may be small, but I still have the right to speak up and share my experience so other travelers can make informed decisions.

Older Baldish Guy Staff was not accommodating and didn't explain anything about the hostel. He let us go upstairs and said that the room was ready, only to find out it was not. So, I had to go back down again. He wanted us to hurry but wasn't efficient in his job. 🫣 No cabinets/cupboards, no table and chairs, though we have towels in our bunked bed and a single bed room. Very tight space. We had bed bug bites starting to occur on our second night and my other friend's blanket seems to be not changed (smells like another person).

CHINCHES Tuvimos que quedarnos una noche en Bruselas por una urgencia en junio, nos alojamos en la habitación 205, habitación de una litera y baño privado. La moqueta y la litera de abajo donde dormí tienen chinches que me dieron una reacción alérgica. Era la primera vez que veía chinches y pensé que sería un bicho inofensivo hasta que llegué a casa y estaba cubierta de picaduras muy dolorosas por todo el cuerpo. He enviado una reclamación por correo electrónico pero nunca se pusieron en contacto conmigo. Para nada recomendado. Las paredes son finas, los otros huéspedes ruidosos y hace calor. They had bedbugs, we requested a refund because I’m not just gonna sleep in a bedbug infested room to then bring the infestation back home and struggle to fight it. They won’t answer my emails, the guys at the reception said this is a common occurrence and I sent them whatever they asked for, i still haven’t receive a response of any kind. Booking.com doesn’t seem to eager to assist me with this.

I stayed here with my girlfriend after our train got canceled for the day. We booked it last minute and it was a really good price with a good location, but our room unfortunately had bed bugs (room 205). We know for certain that it was this hotel/hostel that had the bed bugs because we were staying in our house beforehand and this was the only place that we stayed on our trip. (Stayed June 26th)

Hostel is very hard to find, no sign outside on the street. The room was cold, heating barely working. In the morning I found out I was bitten by bed bugs! Avoid this place.

DO NOT GO HERE! NOT SAFE! THERE WAS BEDBUGS. COULD NOT SLEEP! Me and all my friends got bed bug bites. It was neither safe or hygienic! Reading about the other reviews (saying they got broken into at night etc) combined with the type of people who lived there (drug-abusers) did not make us feel safe at all. Receptionist got aggressive. Additionally all the fights happening at night outside of the hotel did not make it anymore pleasant. Our luggage was not kept safe in the luggage room since whoever could go in there. Noisy all the time because of the thin walls. The stairs and the lift were about to break. Sheets smelled like poop. Carpets and curtains were roughly stained. Two of the receptionists were nice but another one got mad at my friend for wanting to change bed clothes (since they gave her a dirty one).

God location near of everything important on the Brussels center, bar, restaurants, plazas best choice for adventurers. 10 minutes for brussels train station But the hotel is very dated, they have 5 floors to up of you stay at the third level, they have a 1 elevator for 2 persons, so you need to decided cardio or wait, depending the demand of the hotel. The rooms are very warm, even during February we need to sleep with the window open. I think it is a very nice location but needs to be prepared to stay at out dated hotel. Plus: at previous reviews I read about bedbugs problems, but during my stay I don’t have this problem.

빈대 조심!!! The location of the accommodation is excellent, and the staff were friendly. Everything was fine, except for the issue with bed bugs. I was bitten about 30 times. This matter needs to be addressed quickly.

BED BUGS! This hostel is poorly cleaned, with carpeted floor so the ideal for bed bugs. I noticed bites shortly after my stay on feet, hands and those parts of the body that most likely were in direct contact with the bed. I checked these reviews and I found out that it's not a recent issue and other people witnessed the same. I'm shocked that they are still welcoming people even though they're aware of it. "Deep cleaning", that they clearly don't do, is not enough, they need professional disinfestation of the building. Plus, bunk beds are very noisy, there is no privacy as the curtains (also very dirty) are too short for the bed. On the response to this review you say that you already spoke to me internally but where? Because I didn't receive any email back after informing you of everything.

I paid the night to hear this woman snoring loudly . Not too much of privacy as they have curtains but the are very small we can basically see what you are doing. At my check in the guy was very unwelcoming and not very helpful, elevator not working so you have to go up through narrow stairs. No common area so not social at all. Nothing good i can think of of this hostel . Worst experience. There are bed bugs to. I killed to of them and i was itchy the whole night. I took Pictures of them too bad there is no way i can upload the images

Would not recommend staying here. While the location is prime, it is extremely noisy at night. After staying here, I discovered bites on my body - bed bugs. Having checked the reviews now, seems like this is a common theme. The place is cheap and central, but do yourself a favour and stay somewhere less central that is quieter and with better sleeping conditions.

No free towels. Bed had bed bugs whο, actully, are moving on the walls. Bathroom has no ventilation.

This hostel has bed bugs. I woke up with bites everywhere and they were all through the room. I left after the first night and didn’t get a refund for the night I stayed because I “ used my stay” even though I didn’t sleep at all because I was so worried about the bed bugs. I have many videos AND pictures of all the bed bugs bites we reported to the hostel. I have a video of the animal crawling on my bed. I had to take my daughter to the doctor for a horrible allergic reaction to the bed bugs bites. She has 25 bites only in one arm. Please help me with this situation. The guy at the front desk didn't even want to give me his name or close that infested room and avoid future customers bites

Found bed bugs crawling all over my bed and was diminished at reception when showing them proof of bugs. They told me I couldn’t change beds and the receptionist rolled their eyes at me as if I was in the wrong. The hostel is very loud and unsanitary

-Key card didn't work so had to go back down to reception every night I was there to get it reactivated, app doesn't work either. - Construction every morning at 8am on the building outside my window and very uncomfortable beds so basically didn't sleep my entire stay. - COVERED in bites, think there's a bed bug situation. - Lift is very unsafe and struggles to fit 2 people.

Got bit by bedbugs and woke up and saw them crawling around on my blanket at 5am. This was on the 3rd floor though and no one else in the hostel seemed to have the problem. But still, bed bugs.

1. The room was not sound proof. Our neighbor was singing and dancing at night. 2 They have bedbugs. 3. We wrote a email to the manager about the bedbugs. We have not received any reply.

There is obviously a bed bug issue at this hotel, I was bitten several times on my hands and arms. I found a dead one on the bed in the morning.

The rooms looks so dark and dirty! I couldn’t sleep all night!! I founded in the morning bedbugs on my bed. It was awful!!

Bed bugs… Found them all over the bed, the walls and the carpets. Not recommended to visit now, during the France bed bug infestation. Got refunded though. Nice hotel staff. They were understanding 👍🏻 Had a nice view though. Great location. Near almost every tourist attraction.

awful experience. beds had LOTS of bed bugs crawling all over them. we were not given another room or anything. do not stay here. plenty of better hostels and hotels around for the same price.

Our room was infested with bedbugs! They only had one person working, and no manager around. When told about it, they just apologized and offered a free breakfast. Had to leave and buy a hotel for the remainder of our stay. Also was not offered any information about a refund. Had to ask how to get a refund, they just said to email, and I have seen other reviews of them not responding. We will see if a refund is possible.

Woke up at 3 am by itchy bites on my shoulders, arms, legs, fingers. Turned light on found 3 bed bugs crawling on my bed sheet n 2 on the walls, squashed them all only left blood stains. Not dare to go back to the bed.
