I stay at this hotel for 1 night but As soon as we arrived, the receptionist sprayed air freshener in all the rooms because the bedrooms smell of smoke and there are bedbugs. The walls are moldy and there is no soundproofing at all. Avoid this place for your own good.

Were travel a lot with low budget but this “hotel” is far behind the other places where we stay. Why we stay? Coz valentine weekend and all places is full. Bonus: Jerrys ( mouse ) in the rooms, all night crawling disturbed to sleep. Dontkeep food in table, even is unopened !

The photos on Booking.com are probably from a few years ago. The rooms are small, dirty, and disgusting. The lights don't work, and there's only one electrical outlet. The shared bathrooms are riddled with mold, the doors don't close properly, and there's no hot water. On top of that, we had a mouse in our room the first night, which meant we couldn't sleep at all. In the morning, when I informed the receptionist, she dismissed me with, "It's a good room." Only when I returned a second time and told her I wanted to speak to the gentleman who checked us in the previous day did she finally call him on loudspeaker, so I heard the entire conversation, in which the lady didn't understand why I wanted to speak to him and told her not to call the manager. When the gentleman arrived after an hour's wait, he said he didn't know where the mouse was coming from and could only give us another room. The second room was also dirty, and the toilet was even worse. The walls were so thin you could hear the receptionist singing "Merry Christmas" and arguing with other guests. The reviews on Google differ significantly from those on Booking.com, and unfortunately, we only read them after the mouse incident. People there were saying they had bedbugs! I strongly advise against staying here. The entire experience was like something out of a horror movie, not worth a single penny.

We were lucky not to encounter any bed bugs, but we mentioned at check-in that we were aware of the issue, and they said unfortunately it’s a problem everywhere. The cleanliness wasn’t great, and I think you can find something better for this price. The photos on Booking don’t reflect reality, but it wasn’t that bad overall. The receptionist was kind and helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel. I arrived at the property and the room was nothing like the pictures. We had booked 2 rooms one room had no light or hot water in the bathroom, the door did not lock properly, the floor boards were lifting and the TV did not work. The second room - the bathroom was so small that you couldn’t get changed in there but if you did you had to straddle the toilet. Also the bathroom sink was in room as it didn’t fit in the tiny bathroom. To turn the fan on the cord had to be across the room at head height. The tv did not turn on but it had no antenna cord. This room had BED BUGS

We booked room for us to stay at Earl’s Court hotel in London. When we went to bed to sleep there was lots of bed bugs everywhere in the beds. There was no one at the reception to help. We had traumatic experiences. I have 2 kids, my wife and me we just couldn’t sleep all night. We went down to reception about 09:00 still reception noone was there there was number to call. So call the guy called Andrew and he wasn’t really interested in what I was saying and kept on saying email my manager. No mobile phone just number.

Arriving to a smelly, dirty hotel with mold in the bathrooms and only cold water to clean the shared cups in the 'lobby'. The next morning we woke up with dry mouths and soar throats as they we spraying the whole hotel with chemicals because of bed bugs. They confirmed this in the reception. The receptionist tried to help us, but they were practicing severe gatekeeping and would not let us speak to the manager. They would not refund us and were disregarding the health concerns of staying in a toxic environment. Never ever book this hotel if you care for your health. I'm furious my two girls were exposed to this.

I have NEVER had an experience like this. Immediately upon arrival I felt that this was a bad place. The hotel was so smelly, dirty and worn out. But when we woke up in the morning the worst part came. They are spraying the hotel and all the rooms EVERY MORNING with toxic chemicals because of bed bugs. We had an immediate headache and had to run out of the hotel as we couldn’t breath. They would NOT let us cancel our stay. The manager is complete dismissive. This is such a scam and I’m absolutely horrified that they’re gambling with people’s health. We contacted the police and the Kensington Council and they now have a pending case. STAY AWAY. this need to be shut down!

A lovely setting and the facilities are clean and nice staff but there was a bed bug infestation in the room. I had a terrible night. I now have lumps on my body and found them crawling on me and the bedding. They need to get professional people in. Plus I have the worry of transporting the infestation to other places if they crawled into my suitcase. Upsetting.

DON'T CHOOSE THIS HOTEl!

Bed bugs. beds were also extremely uncomfortable and there were no mattress protectors. We booked a family room and the room was jammed with beds with zero space for luggage or to move. The shower door could not close because of the shower unit being located outside of the shower itself (and the hose needed to pass through the door). The toilet was also rammed between the shower and the wall and even the children had trouble fitting. All round - was not a pleasant experience and wouldn’t recommend.

BEDBUGS, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TRIP TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE ! There's absolutely nothing that could compensate for the nightmare we experienced thanks to this hotel. On the first day, we arrived after a sleepless night and since we couldn't check in earlier, we got into the room relatively late and immediately fell asleep. The room and the shared bathroom were quite dirty with stains on the walls, sheets, etc. and very old, yet we didn't expect wonders from a hotel with such a low rating. Little did we know that the real horror was yet to begin. On the second day, as we arrived at the room, we discovered some bugs on the sheets. At first, we thought it could have been something that crawled to the room through the window. However, a few seconds later, we discovered more. It quickly became obvious that the room was completely infested with bedbugs. We went to inform the employee of the problem and in response, he gave us fresh sheets and suggested we should only change our sheets and 'it will be fine, trust me'. As we came back to the room, we saw more bugs on the bed and towels, so we quickly ran out and removed all our belongings. We asked the employee to relocate us, yet he said he did not have any room available to do so. In response to that, we demanded our money back, so that we could pay for another place to stay. But, according to the employee, complaints could only be handled by his manager (who... surprise, surprise, wasn't there and there was no way of contacting him). I demanded the full name of the owner and the phone number so that I could contact him myself, however, the employee claimed he didn't know his manager's full name or any way to reach him, and told us that the only thing we could do was to contact Booking or send an email to the hotel's email address. As I continued asking for other solutions due to the dubious effectiveness of the ones suggested, the employee stopped answering and simply sat there in silence avoiding eye contact. We tried to contact Booking, however, we didn't receive any help. Similarly, the email address provided by the employee was the same as the one the employee had access to. Completely appalled by this, we finally decided to book another place to sleep (it was 2 am!) and leave what turned out to be bedbugs' diner. We also discovered that our bodies were full of bite marks and bugs spread to our luggage so now we have to hire a professional exterminator to get rid of them in our house. Although no money is enough to cover the financial, psychological and physical damage we suffered by staying at this accommodation, it is unacceptable that we have not received at least the refund for the stay. If you value your money, health and psychological well-being, steer away from this place and stay as far as you can. And if you slept there, make sure to check your belongings in case some unwanted hitchhikers are travelling with you back home.

The bed was infested with bedbugs so after being bitten many times and getting no sleep, I left the hotel as soon as public transport opened at 5:30am. The reception was closed so I only complained after leaving - the hotel basically accused me of lying! I managed to get a little compensation from Booking but as I'm covered in itchy bites I'm still very upset about this experience. Avoid!

Horrifying Stay - Never Coming Back I recently stayed at Earl's Court Hotel for two nights, and I can confidently say I will never stay here again. The room had a double and a single bed, and by the second night, my friend was bitten from head to toe. Initially, we thought it was just a fly, but we soon discovered the horrifying truth: the room was infested with bed bugs—in both beds. After barely getting three hours of sleep, I went down to the reception with a tissue containing a dead bed bug and photo evidence of more in the room. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff had the nerve to accuse me of bringing the bed bugs with me! I wasn’t bitten before or after staying in this hotel. When I requested a refund, they said I’d have to go through Booking.com, but of course, the refund was declined. I called the hotel to follow up, and they had the gall to say that I should have reported the issue before the check-out date—completely ignoring the fact that the problem wasn’t fully apparent until the second night. They told me to call back so they could "check" on the refund, but when I did, they outright denied having any bed bug problem, lying to my face and insisting I email them instead. This stay has not only cost me £20 in medication but also countless hours of lost sleep due to the relentless itching and discomfort. The way the hotel handled this situation was beyond appalling. If you value your health and sanity, avoid Earl's Court Hotel at all costs. They clearly prioritize covering up their negligence over providing a safe and decent place to stay.

The only advantage of this hotel is the location. The room I received was inconsistent with the offer I had presented when purchasing it, the room we were accommodated in was about 6 m2, it was stuffy, the window couldn't be opened, it was broken. However, the biggest problem of this hotel are the bedbugs that bit us severely. Despite reporting this fact to the hotel and Agoda, no one responded.
