The Frame Guesthouse

Good location and affordable. Close to cafes, restaurants and bars. The room was standard but had all of the amenities we required. AC only seemed to be effective when left on for a while. There was a pungent smell from the floor below us and bottles of bed bug repellant left out nearby. One of the nights, a rat appeared in the cafe downstairs and was rooting through the bin. A mouse paid a visit 2 nights out of our stay but we didn’t mind that. Would recommend for location and a place to rest

Bedbugs! Didn’t stay our room had bed bugs, were moved to another and still found bed bugs. It was a shame cause the hostel and facilities looked great

llegamos muy tarde y el personal nos dejo hacer el check in. primera impresion: las habitaciones no estan aisaldas de sonido, muy simples y tienes la sensacion de falta de intimidad. ademas, se oye todo lo que pasa alrededor ya que el suelo es de un parquet muy fino que reteuena. por ejemplo, mas tarde llegaron otros huespedes con una maleta de ruedas y se entero todo el mundo. de estetica pretende ser un lugar simple, industrial, minimalista, moderno… pero se queda a medias rozando la cutrez. al llegar a la habitacion vimos que era interior sin ningun tipo de ventilacion, dos camas y una mesita. sin ningun tipo de lampara o armario. cuando hibamos a dormir nos fijamos que habia CHINCHES. nos encontramos unas 10 entre las dos camas, y eso sin buscar ya que estaban a simple vista. estavan vivas y coleantes. la parte buena? EL STAFF. personal muy amable que nos resolvio el problema y nos cambiaron de habitacion en unas capsulas mucho mas limpias. era como un papel estilo habitacion compartida. ademas, nos devolvieron el dinero sin problema de las noches no disfrutadas. en resumen, chinches pero buen personal resolutivo. si quereis ir, reservad las capsulas o revisad a fondo la habitacion.

My stay was okay til one day I was chilling out on level 2 and smelt something strong like cleaner. Didn’t think much of it; another traveller said he smelt it before when they were cleaning the coffee machine. After a while, I started coughing & looked up. A smokey mist was starting to seep through the floorboards. I got the f**k out, and asked a staff member what it was. They were fumigating the place for bed bugs. My throat is still sore 2 days later.

Gutes Hostel, mit sehr freundlichen Personal und hervorragend sauber. Das Kaffee im Hostel ist super und wird auch gut besucht. Leider hatten wir in unserem Zimmer Bettwanzen, Matratze war voller Wanzen Kot was aus unserer Sicht bein Putzen schwer zu übersehen sein sollte. Haben nach dem Fund allerdings problemlos ein neues Zimmer bekommen.

Avoid this hotel BEDBUGS alert!! We found bed bugs in the bed room 7 late in the night, we did not sleep very well. We told the problem in the morning when we check out and they did not say anything about it... Thank you bye!

The good: - Aesthetic / decor - Staff are friendly - Great location The bad: - Always noisey. Especially the rooms off the kitchen where you won't sleep undisturbed outside of 1am - 7am. No insulation in the ceiling so you'll hear everything in the room above, and only wooden slat windows between you and the kitchen. - Bed bugs :( we'd seen this mentioned in some other comments but took a chance. I ended up covered in bites. Horrible. Seems to be a known issue that they've been unable to resolve in some rooms (prob because of the wooden floorboards). - Wifi lacking throughout hotel
