GROSS and didn’t feel very safe at all. The bathrooms were disgusting and my bed had bedbugs and hair in it. Bring your own toilet paper and prayers

Good location, near to the main square, and very busy so met so many nice travellers. However the showers are always cold, the beds are uncomfortable and we woke up with bedbug bites. Was made to write a 5 star review on Hostelworld which also annoyed me

This is a lively hostel in a great location BUT unfortunately there are bed bugs, dirty beds, showers don’t work and very hot rooms. It’s advertised as having a pool, bar and air conditioning- it has none of these! It’s in a great location and lots of friendly people come here but I wouldn’t recommend as there are much better riads for cheaper.

I highly recomend not to visit this accomodation. My roommates and me had problems with bedbugs! At all the place was dirty and facilities as showers were not working properly. At least there was a nice roof terrace and the personal was overall quite nice. Still I would not reccomend to spend a night there.

BEDBUG ALERT! Don't book it! Seemed to me that the Hostel was good in 2013. But not anymore in 2018! The facilities are very old and used. The only positive thing is the friendly staff.

Hostel Riad Marrakech Rouge a l’ossature d’un riad social central à Marrakech : emplacement médina, énergie rooftop/terrasse, petit-déjeuner et une foule qui peut être facile à rencontrer. Quelques séjours tombent encore du côté fun, surtout pour les voyageurs solo qui veulent juste un endroit cheap et animé au milieu de tout. Le warning label est fort. Le pattern récent est dominé par salles de bain et draps sales, douches cassées ou froides, lits durs/minuscules, absence de clim ou mauvaise ventilation, bruit tardif et disputes de paiement répétées. Plusieurs personnes décrivent qu’on leur a demandé plus d’argent au check-in, rendu la monnaie manquante ou ajouté des frais après le départ. Ce n’est pas un choix confort. Ça peut marcher pour une nuit cheap si tu arrives avec le montant exact, de faibles attentes de sommeil et une forte tolérance à la crasse. Si sécurité, propreté ou prix clair comptent, choisis ailleurs.
