GROSS and didn’t feel very safe at all. The bathrooms were disgusting and my bed had bedbugs and hair in it. Bring your own toilet paper and prayers

Good location, near to the main square, and very busy so met so many nice travellers. However the showers are always cold, the beds are uncomfortable and we woke up with bedbug bites. Was made to write a 5 star review on Hostelworld which also annoyed me

This is a lively hostel in a great location BUT unfortunately there are bed bugs, dirty beds, showers don’t work and very hot rooms. It’s advertised as having a pool, bar and air conditioning- it has none of these! It’s in a great location and lots of friendly people come here but I wouldn’t recommend as there are much better riads for cheaper.

I highly recomend not to visit this accomodation. My roommates and me had problems with bedbugs! At all the place was dirty and facilities as showers were not working properly. At least there was a nice roof terrace and the personal was overall quite nice. Still I would not reccomend to spend a night there.

BEDBUG ALERT! Don't book it! Seemed to me that the Hostel was good in 2013. But not anymore in 2018! The facilities are very old and used. The only positive thing is the friendly staff.

Hostel Riad Marrakech Rouge heeft de botten van een centrale Marrakech social riad: Medina-locatie, rooftop/terrasenergie, ontbijt en een crowd die makkelijk te ontmoeten kan zijn. Een paar verblijven landen nog steeds aan de fun kant, vooral voor soloreizigers die gewoon een goedkope, drukke plek midden in alles willen. Het waarschuwingslabel is luid. Het recente patroon wordt gedomineerd door vieze badkamers en lakens, kapotte of koude douches, harde/kleine bedden, geen A/C of slechte ventilatie, laat geluid en herhaalde betalingsdisputen. Meerdere mensen beschrijven dat ze bij check-in om meer geld werden gevraagd, wisselgeld misten of extra kosten kregen na vertrek. Dit is geen comfortpick. Het kan werken voor een goedkope nacht als je met exact cash aankomt, lage slaapverwachtingen hebt en sterke tolerantie voor grime. Als veiligheid, schoonmaak of straightforward pricing belangrijk zijn, kies iets anders.
