The worst thing actually - next to that it seems that noone is in charge of cleaning the place (especially not the bathroom and kitchen area), is that they just tried to get rid of bed bugs in the left room, but the owner didn't tell me anything about it. In my opinion he should have talked transparently about this and leave me the option if I want to choose another place. It was just so obvious that this was no normal cleaning what they did there in the middle of the night - what he tried to persuade me of (what is even more unprofessional) - and then I saw all the previous comments about the bedbugs. Unfortunately when booking the place it mostly showed me reviews from 2 years ago and they're pretty good - but they have nothing to do with the conditions right now!! Be careful of this and check for the actual reviews! Apparently in the right room, where I was, were no bed bugs. Let's keep fingers crossed I don't carry some with me now 🙏 so beside this there's just to say that there's one toilet and one shower for around 10 people, if the place is full.. so not really convenient.

There are bed bugs in the place!!!! It's terrible, I ended up with many bites, even the next day I could see the animals in the bed, when I reported it to the host he just changed the sheets and sprayed a spray that didn't help at all, they should do a deep cleaning. There were people staying there who smoked all the time so the apartment smelled like cigarettes all the day, they were also disrespectful, they would gather in the living room to drink in the early mornings, the kitchen was always dirty, the bathroom was even worse, I think a lot of this is because the guests who were there were very dirty, but in general they should be cleaner, it's a shame they have the place like this because the location is very good and the host is friendly but there is a lot to clean

Unfortunately, had lof of bedbugs when I was there. I had to change hostel during the night. I hope they will find a solution about it.

BEWARE of BED BUGS! Apart from being one of the dirtiest and seediest hostels I've ever been to, I've got bed bugs there, disgusting! Also, people (men) smoking all over the place, super dirty bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Just book anywhere else in Pristina!!!

Yellow Moon Hostel&Apartment est un séjour budget très central, façon appartement, à Pristina, près de Mother Teresa Street, des supermarchés, restaurants, arrêts de bus et principaux sites de la ville. Ça convient aux backpackers qui veulent un lit pas cher, une configuration comme à la maison et un accès facile à pied plus qu’un hostel bien construit et poli. L’endroit peut sembler amical et informel, avec un hôte aidant, des conseils sur la ville, café ou thé, casiers, Wi-Fi, eau chaude, petite cuisine et laverie parfois gratuite ou disponible avec lessive et espace de séchage. Le setup est compact : un appartement converti avec chambres partagées, salon, accès balcon et installations limitées. C’est un séjour rugueux et irrégulier. La propreté est un risque majeur, surtout dans la salle de bain, la cuisine, la literie, les serviettes et les espaces partagés. Les plaintes récentes de punaises de lit sont assez sérieuses pour rendre cet hostel difficile à recommander à moins que le problème ait clairement été réglé avant l’arrivée.
