Draft Hostel & Rooms

Nice hostel but I got bed bugs. Probably 20 bites that itch like crazy. I was in room 6 all female 8-person, in bed number 3. If you choose to stay here inspect your bed very closely before you decide to stay. I found one bug casing but wasn’t able to see any other bugs just the bites. The receptionist was very helpful and gave me a refund however they did not have any other beds so I chose to leave and stay somewhere else. We had bed bugs in our room… I don’t blame them for this as ut can happen when you are hosting so many people travelling from different places, but the reaction to this situation was ridiculous : we discreetly informed staff and were moved to another room but then we had no further consideration from the hotel : while the bite marks on my body were confirmed by 3 different pharmacists to be from bed bugs, the hotel simply told us they didn’t find anything in the room and offered no compensation despite the fact that we had to go and launder all of our clothes and lost almost a full day of tourism in Lisbon doing so. Not to mention the damage from the >100 bites I had on my body. So they even made us pay for the laundry service we had to use for delicate clothes.
