   I choose the cheapest choice, the bedroom with 8 beds. Honestly, I'm positively surprised the bedsheet and the rooms are very clean and the people working there very nice. I found the price is a little bit high but it's probably because it's Rome. The breakfast is good you can either write a review and have it for free or paid 12euros for it. Thx for having me ;)

   Room is okay, toilets are okay, and they still have free breakfast for reviews, you have to pay 20€ for the key and then you have it back when you give back the key. Receptionists are really nice and friendly people

   This place was great. Rooms were super clean staff were very friendly and breakfast was awesome. This review was for getting a free breakfast. My honest review though is that the place is very mediocre. The rooms were clean staff were nice but the hostel is quite a ways out from the city and there were not to many activity planned by the hostel. Found it much harder to meet people than other hostels. Felt very antisocial. It got the job done

   I never write reviews. However, this place has forced my hand. I booked Hostel Trastevere 6 weeks in advanced. Only for them to email me the day before I was meant to have my stay here. Really annoyed and in shock, I asked if I could get my refund for my deposit I had paid 6 weeks ago. They said I had to come in to get my refund. I was not going to waste my one night in Rome, going to a place that did not give me any respect. After a month of emails still no refund. This review is my last resort

   The locatIon is not that bad. Room is OK but the only thing is there is no power source near to the bed and you couldn't charge your phone and use your phone on the bed. And there is no shampoo and soap provided. Some receptionists are helpful and polite but some are not. The boss is helpful ( a little chubby and I guess he is the boss there) but the other male staff is not but I can't remember his name and the lady receptionist is quite helpful as well). There is no locker in the room. But there are many locker outside the room and the don't provide pad lock for you. The breakfast is not included and you have to make a good review in Google in order to get free breakfast. I think this is the reason that a lot of people force to give a good review.

   Travelers beware of staff misconduct, predatory behavior, and scamming I wasn’t able to stay a 2nd night due to no vacancy, so I booked a bed at another hostel. Alex, a stocky shorter Italian man, approached us at dinner nearby, claiming he was the owner and offered a private room seemingly at no cost. He told me to cancel my other reservation and I stayed at the hostel. The next morning I was told to pay by the staff, who also informed me Alex did not own the hostel. It is also worth mentioning, the green eyed woman at the front desk banged on our hostel dorm at 2:30 am demanding everyone’s names. In the end, it was the error of the hostel and everyone was upset. They offered nothing more than an apology. Edit: Multiple other guests complained about Alex hitting on female guests. I saw in another review he physically assaulted someone at the location. The owner did end up contacting me after I posted this same review on multiple sites, and pretty much told me off. Hostelworld refunded me my stay. I opened 2 investigations with the FTC and Econsumer for fraud.

   One of the worst experiences I've ever had. The floor was dirty, there was no warm water and no blankets on the beds. The receptionist had a very aggressive and rude behaviour when we complained and we had to call the police for him! Edit: this isn’t a fake a review. I stayed in this hostel between 1 - 3 November..

   For the most part, this hotel was acceptable and welcoming. However one of the staff members (Alex) became drunk and hit another guest. Previous reviews about innapropriate behaviour are founded. I would not recommend going to this hostel Edit (response to owners): I think I needn't reinforce how disappointing it is that the owners are unwilling to accept what was a regrettable incident, appologise, and move on. Labelling multiple reviews which report the same incident as 'fake' is a clear reflection of the quality of this hostel.
