   • Paid with card via online booking (part paid in advance and the rest at the hostel) then got charged cash at the hostel. When I left they also charged my card.

   The property had no signage so it was difficult to find. When we arrived we found out that they only take cash so you have to find an automat which have a €5 fee. The shower was covered in black mould, and the kitchen was full of flies. Our worst issue was that they took my passport as a deposit, then gave me the wrong passport back, causing me and another guest both a lot of stress. They denied giving me the wrong passport and weren’t very helpful when I tried to resolve the issue.

   Great hostel with good ac in the 12 person bedroom. Great location, staff and facilities Only down side is someone stole my shorts (your weird for that whoever you are x)

   I visited the hostel in 2022. Place seemed fine, until it was revealed how the owner was a real life monster. He assaulted one of his employees who was a victim of human trafficing and destroyed her passport. She fled the country as a result of the assault.

   Beware!!! The man working at/running this hostel has charged us 140 euro and refused to provide accommodation or refund our money. We prepaid the price of two beds for two nights and we were refused our accommodation and we were told we would get our money back. We had been travelling for over 5 hours to Bled, after being up the whole night dealing with a severe attack from a longstanding condition with no cure or knowledge of when it will resurface, with hospitalisation required often. My sister was in and out of consciousness the entire journey, it was a struggle to make it. She was dripping with sweat and could barely speak, with barely any sleep. This was how we arrived, clearly distraught, visibly in bad shape. He assumed this was an attitude problem, and instantly took a disliking to the fact we hadn’t the energy to jump for joy over every word that came from him. We thanked him continuously for the water given, and for the information given. He had asked us to leave our baggage outside on the table which was worrying as this is a legitimate concern if you’ve stayed all over. When I addressed my concern he got very offended, and I had said it hadn’t been my experience, having been robbed before in a hostel. He then proceeded to advertise the special price pizza and beer. Again we were just listening and going ok, and he snapped at us “ARE YOU FOLLOWING!”. His behaviour was completely unjustified, he lacked the basic awareness, and understanding to comprehend our distress, or to ask if everything was ok, instead he took it as a behavioural problem. Then refused our stay and said he would refund us our money, and now he is saying he will not. After speaking with the police, they informed us we will need to make a claim. Rather than reflect on his poor handling of the situation he has decided he would rather double down on his dishonesty (saying we will be refunded and now refusing) and has is told us to go ahead and take legal action, which will need to be addressed via the EU small claims court. Abhorrent behaviour, height of ignorance.

   I do not recommend this place to anyone We felt discriminated because of our age and nationality. It said reservation is ONLY FOR people from Europe union and under the age of 44. we did not realized about it because it was written in a very small part of the booking . We have American passport and we had booked already and finally they took our money reservation. Very disappointed!!

   Overall a super nice, small town vibe with a great outdoor, hangout area and well equipped kitchen. We did have a couple issues with our payment, possibly due to having a UK card. And despite calling up to ask why a non-hostel world email address was demanding payment, we were given no explanation or reassurance and was just urged to pay. This was unsettling since the email and payment link gave scam vibes, all was okay tho! Kitchen opened late the morn of departure = lost our prepped lunch!

   I cancelled my shared dorm and upgraded to a private, I cancelled 3 days before but was still charged for both rooms for 4 days (making it double the price). My room was only half made upon arrival, the other beds had been slept in and dirty. There was no heat and the room was very cold. The staff was rude about the double charge and only refunded me $40.

   Terrible experience staying at this hostel. The staff requested cash payment upon check in which I paid in full. Then when I checked out they told me I hadn’t paid and charged my card. Despite calling and messaging numerous times over the last two weeks I am still to receive a refund or any payment receipt. Disguising to steal money from a young backpacker. Perhaps use that money to invest in better staff or proper training. Do yourself a favor and stay at the hostel down the road.

    Very nice hostel good location, the host when we visited was very chill. Owner has scammed me though. I contacted them when I left, because I forgot a cap, and I spoke to the owner who told me to send money and he would send it. It has been over 2 months and nothing has shown up, and he doesn’t want to send me any receipts or tracking number or nothing. Shameful behaviour.

    No bar, very plain social area, no hot water when I tried to shower, no toilet roll, and the manager has anger issues. At 1am when we were eating and chatting outside the supermarket he came out screaming, snatched my phone and tried to fight my friend. Could've just asked us to keep it down but he went crazy. Very childish. Sort it out. Inappropriate behavior from a fully grown man. Very plain hostel for what you pay. Would not recommend

    Normally I don’t write any reviews at all, but this time I feel like it’s needed. ⁃ I needed to extend my stay, so I called a few days earlier to check availability. I called 3 times, first two they did not even bother to answer, third one they said they would check, but didn’t write me back ⁃ Got ignored on WhatsApp after they said they would write back it for me, only on the third time they answered and confirmed I could stay one more night ⁃ Got to the hostel and they put me in a room of 10 people while I made a reservation for a room of 4, I had to show them the confirmation of my booking so they would change my room ⁃ Remember all the issues I had on extending the stay? The story isn’t over, on the last night I arrive at the hostel and my things are GONE from my locker. I ask the guy and he’s all stressed and says “do you think it’s normal to leave your things in your locker after checkout??” and I start explaining to him that they confirmed I could stay one more night. He realizes his mistake, but doesn’t even apologize once, instead he says “you know how many guests we have?” ⁃ He takes me to another room, brings my stuff and still no apology. After everything he just tries to make me laugh, gives me a new locker and charges me for the extra night. The guy was trying to me nice but that doesn’t undo his mistake. Basically, if you want to avoid headache for the poor management of this hostel, just book the one next to it. Literally same price, same location, organized and even has a bar. Overall, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s unfortunate I had this problem…

    We had a terrible experience. There were bugs on the walls roof and beds in our room. The owner came into our room late one night asking if he could show his Freind our room. The owner and two other men sat in the common area smoking weed the whole time we were there, we felt very uncomfortable. Finally after we checked out the owner came up saying we had to pay him for 4 new sets of bedding as there was tinted mosturizer on them, even though it washes out . There was also no aircon or blinds.
