Hostelle - women only hostel London

Good location. Cleanliness is an obvious issue. There is so much dirt and debris built up under the beds. This is my second stay here and I was unlucky enough to get a bed that had bed bugs, I woke up with six bites in two rows on my back. Staff were able to move me to a new bed but I brought the bed begs along with me when I went home. Really unfortunate to have this issue in my own apartment now. Facilities also seem to need a lot of maintenance as well.

Horrible place, the beds were cover with bed bugs we ask the girl to move us from that bedroom to another one and they didnt do it. Staff was horrible, we booked a last minute place.

Could be cleaner and free of bedbugs, but I liked that it was women only. I got bedbug bites which was not ideal. Toilets were not always clean.

I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. I liked the curtain enclosing my bed because it gives privacy and made me feel safe and secure. The sheets where white, soft and clean and the mattress was very comfortable (I have back issues so this was really appreciated). I'm quite reactive to bug bites and can safely say that there weren't any bedbugs or other pests which was great! There was a charging point and little shelf at the end of the bed making it easy to charge my phone without worrying about someone being tempted to take it. There is a cage/drawer thing under the bed which I didn't use but which could be useful to lock one's things in. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The air in the room was quite stuffy (16 bed room so not entirely unexpected), even with some sort of aircon/fan going full blast, but the air wasn't as stuffy at the top of the bunkbed which was a relief. I liked the sound of the fan, as it masked any other sleep sounds. I wouldn't say that it is the best location, and there were some people just standing about at night and during the day, but nothing happened to actually risk my safety, I just wouldn't walk around by myself at night if I can help it. However, I did book in at 2 am so I wouldn't advise walking around at that time anywhere in general. It is close to the tube which is great location wise.
