Bedbugs, no sponge in the kitchen

BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS, I checked the bed, saw them and I left emediatly. I did ged a refund even tough my booking was non refundable.

Stayed here a few times in the past and had a good experience. However, this time was very disappointing since the room was infested with dozens of bedbugs (inside the bed frame and in cracks in the floor). Judging by other reviews and the reaction of the staff when informed about the situation, the management is aware of the issue, but instead of sealing the room and calling pest control like any respectable hostel, their strategy is to ignore the problem.

I GOT BED BUGS HERE I WAS COVERED IN BED BUG BITES FROM 1 NIGHT STAY DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE COVERED IN ICHTY RED SPOTS THE REST IF YOUR EUROPE TRIP!!!!

Very noisy ppl and staff don't intervene, bedbugs, not friendly stuff

il y avait des punaises de lits et personnes des employés a pu trouver une solution nous avons dû attendre dans la cuisine toute la nuit car aucune solution était proposé il on même essaye de nous mettre à la porte alors que nous étions 4 filles à 3h du matin et nous ne parlions pas la langue

Personeel waren echt verschrikkelijk. Ze waren heel onaangenaam tijdens gesprekken via de app en ook bij de balie. Er werd mij beloofd dat ik een gratis handdoek zou krijgen en dat ik de wasmachine zou kunnen gebruiken, maar ter plek werd ik (heel agressief) verteld dat dit niet zo was. Ik voelde me niet welkom en eigenlijk heel erg gedisrespeetcerd. De kamer had geen à/c en het was extreem heet, dus dit was niet comfortabel. Er waren er geen gordijnen. De wc’s waren vies met modder op de grond en de douches ook. Ik wilde eigenlijk een 3 of 4 geven, want ja, het was okay voor een nacht op alle problemen na, maar ik ben wakker geworden van bedwantsen. Ik zag ook schimmel op meerdere matrassen. Dit is echt onacceptabel. Heb nog steeds jeuk van.

Bedbugs

Someone was biting me at night, and in the morning, I noticed bites all over my body. I think it might be bedbugs.

Fine location if not a bit hidden. Relatively safe feeling. Service was fine. But woke up in the morning to bug bites on me and my friend. Can’t confirm they were bedbugs, but they look like them.

I planned to stay at the Patio Hostel for 3 nights but quickly shortened it to only two nights. The reason is that due to the heat and the lack of any ventilation (except for a small fan which did not even reach most of the beds) I did not sleep well at all in the first night. The next day I was also covered with bed bug bites so I was not too keen on staying any longer. The bar downstairs is quite however and the location is very good.

Rather bad level of cleanliness. Private shared shower and bathrooms generally means two rooms share one ensuite, not 'it is there for everyone to use'. That meant, of course, that there was litteral feces in the shower one. Very uncomfortable bed and the sheets had brown spots near the extremities of the bed. Either they are burnt by the dryer OR bed bugs. No receipt for key deposits or payment provided. Horrendous wifi. Great staff, lovely location and cool events. A bit pricy.
